1. Operation management defined as a study and application of the transformation process (input, process, output)
2. Operations management has 15 principles which relate to each other and as a foundation to produce goods and services. The 15 principals divided into two part, they are formulation and implementation.

3. Element of Operations Management have six point. Consists time line, consume and requirements, productivity, measure operation management, manager operations and policy. Policy is important because this element will protect and regulate the system.
4. The scopes of operations management consist of Location of facilities, Plant layouts and Material Handling, Product Design, Process Design, Production and Planning Control, Quality Control, Materials Management, Maintenance Management.
