In general, Annual Report 2013 PT Bakrieland Development Tbk covers several important discussions on company profile, management report, management discussion and analysis, corporate governance, social responsibility, and the consolidated financial statements. This Annual Report is also integrated with the 2013 Sustainability Report so that it complements the 2013 Annual Report.

Seiring dengan dinamika yang terjadi di sektor properti Indonesia, pada tahun 2013 Bakrieland melakukan realignment aset dan kembali ke bisnis inti di bidang properti yang berdampak positif terhadap kinerja Perseroan. Selain itu, Bakrieland juga membuka berbagai peluang pertumbuhan baru melalui ekspansi pengembangan proyek-proyek baru pada unit Landed Residential, City Property, dan Hotels & Resorts, dan telah menunjukkan laju pertumbuhan bagi penghasilan Perseroan. Dalam menghadapi tantangan dan persaingan yang semakin ketat, Perseroan melakukan percepatan restrukturisasi keuangan dan organisasi Perusahaan, yang bertujuan untuk mempercepat pertumbuhan dan meningkatkan kinerja masing-masing unit usaha serta menciptakan momentum pertumbuhan baru di masa mendatang.

In line with the dynamics that occurred in Indonesias property sector, in 2013 Bakrieland realigned its assets and returned to its core property business which yielded a positive impact on the Companys performance. Moreover, Bakrieland also seek for new growth opportunities through the development of new project expansions in the Landed Residential, City Property and Hotels & Resorts business units, which have shown growth rate for the Companys revenue. Facing the challenges and the increasingly fierce competition, the Company accelerated its financial and organizational restructuring that aimed at accelerating growth and increasing the performance of each business unit as well as creating a new growth momentum in the future.
