Guna menunjang pembangunan daerah yang semakin pesat,

kompleks dan penuh dengan dinamika, tuntutan ketersediaan data yang lengkap,

factual, terpercaya dan tepat waktu merupakan sebuah keniscayaan. Pada

gilirannya, pelaksanaan otonomi daerah yang luas, nyata dan bertanggungjawab,

To support regional development is rapidly increasing,

complex and full of dynamics, demands the availability of complete data,

factual, reliable and on time is a necessity. In turn, the implementation

of regional autonomy wide, real and responsible, is a challenge and an

opportunity that must be answered and elaborated. Optimizing the

development potential of the area, the efficiency and effectiveness as

well as diversifying the utilization of production, requires good planningand careful. In line with that, absolutely necessary that the data /

information that is timely and reliable as study materials in formulating

development policies and decision-making.

With the publication of statistics "Parepare in Figures 2014"

which covers various aspects of data / information Parepare

development, is expected to assist in meeting the needs above. I

recommend to all parties to make this publication as a source of official

statistik tahunan yang diterbitkan BPS Kota Parepare bekerjasama

dengan BAPPEDA Kota Parepare yang memuat data/informasi Kota

Parepare. Berhasilnya penerbitan publikasi ini adalah karena dukungan

serta kerjasama yang baik dari semua pihak baik instansi pemerintahan

maupun swasta.Menyadari hal tersebut, maka melalui kesempatan ini kami

Book Parepare in Figures, 2013 is an annual statistical

publication published in collaboration with the BPS Parepare

BAPPEDA Parepare containing data / information Parepare. The

success of this publication is for the good support and cooperation of all

parties, both governmental and private agencies.

Realizing this, it is through this opportunity to thank our entire

leadership of agencies / Department as well as government and private

agencies for their assistance and participation in Parepare publication

in Figures 2013

We expect good cooperation can be further improved in the

future-the future in order to meet the growing needs of data that is

essential for development in the framework of the implementation of a

b. Warna Merah adalah melambangkan keberanian

c. Warna Putih adalah Melambangkan kesucian

Bintang persegi lima warna kuning emas mengandung makna :

a. Pancasila sebagai falsafah hidup rakyat dan Negara Republik

Indonesia

b. Cita-cita luhur dari Rakyat Parepare untuk mencapai taraf hidup

yang layak dan yang lebih baik dari masa lampau

Perahu (bentuk lambo) dengan layar terkembang, yang seluruhya

berwarna putih di atas tiga gelombang laut yang berwarna biru,mengandung makna :

a. Kekayaan yang dimiliki bangsa Indonesia di lautan.

b. Bahtera sebagai sarana yang digunakan untuk mencapai cita-cita

menuju masayarakat adil dan makmur.

Pohon kelapa, buah padi, bunga kapas, ketiga-tiganya adalah

termasuk bahan pokok keperluan sandang dan pangan yang

melambangkan kemakmuran dengan makna sebagaiberikut :

a. Pohon kelapa warna hitam melambangkan keuletan /kekokohan

b. Warna kuning pada buah padi melambangkan keluhuran dan

kebesaran.

c. Warna putih bersih pada bunga kapas, melambangkan kesucian.

Garis sejajar yang berwarna hitam dan putih pada sekeliling pinggir

perisai melambangkan ketahanan yang kokoh di dalam mewujudkan

persatuan dan kesatuan nan manual dan kesinambungan.

Kota Parepare

terdiri dari 4 kecamatan

dan 22 kelurahan.

Empat kecamatan

tersebut yaitu

Kecamatan Bacukiki,

Bacukiki Barat, Ujungdan Soreang. Seluruh

kelurahan di Kota

Parepare termasuk

dalam klasifikasi

Kelurahan Swasembada.

Keanggotaan

DPRD Kota Parepare

terdiri dari 25 orang

yang berasal dari 12

partai/4 fraksi. Tahun

2012 DPRD Kota

Parepare menghasilkan

45 keputusan (meliputi

16 keputusan PERDA,

26 keputusan DPRD,

dan 3 keputusan

Pimpinan DPRD).

GOVERNMENT

Parepare City

consists of 4 districts

and 22 urban villages.

Four districts namely

Bacukiki District, West

Bacukiki, Ujung and

Soreang. Entire villagesin the town of Pare-Pare

lingkup Pemda Kota

Parepare berjumlah

4.783 orang, terdiri dari

2.052 orang PNS laki-

laki dan 2.731 orang

PNS perempuan.

Jika dilihatberdasarkan komposisi

pegawai menurut jenis

kelamin, jumlah

pegawai perempuan

jauh lebih besar

dibanding pegawai laki-

laki. Fenomena ini

dikarenakan PNS di

Kota Parepare

didominasi oleh guru;

dimana jumlah guru

perempuan lebih

banyak daripada jumlahguru laki-laki.

Sedangkan jika dilihat

dari tingkat

pendidikannya, sebagian

besar PNS di Kota
