Description :Bioethanol adalah ethanol yang diproduksi dari bahan baku berupa biomassa seperti singkong, jagung, kentang, gandum,tebu, bit sorgum dan molases. Bahan baku yang digunakan dalam pabrik ini adalah buah semu jambu mete sebesar11095,37 ton/tahun. Bioethanol dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan bakar alternatif yang bersifat renewable dandimanfaatkan sebagai bahan bakar pengganti fosil.Proses pembuatan bioethanol ini meliputi lima tahap. Tahap pertama adalah proses pengepresan. Tahap kedua adalahproses pre fermentasi terdiri dari proses penurunan pH dengan penambahan H2SO4 98%, proses sterilisasi, dan prosespembuatan starter dengan penambahan nutrient dan Sacharomycess cerevisiae. Tahap ketiga adalah proses fermentasiselama 48 jam dengan penambahan inokulum dari tangki starter dan antifoam. Tahap keempat adalah proses distilasi.Tahap kelima adalah dehidrasi molecular shieve untuk meningkatkan kadar ethanol menjadi 99,5 %.Pabrik bioetanol ini beroperasi selama 24 jam per hari dengan masa kerja 330 hari per tahun. Produk utama yangdihasilkan berupa bioetanol. Kapasitas produksi pabrik bioetanol adalah 353,56 ton/tahun dan kebutuhan utilitas sebesar1489,336 m3/tahun.
Description Alt:Bioethanol is ethanol produced from biomass as raw material such as cassava, corn, potatoes, wheat, sugarcane, beet,sorgum and molasses. Raw materials used in this factory is pseudo cashew fruit 11095,37 tons/year. Bioethanol can beused as an alternative biofuel that is renewable and can be used as an a substitute for fossil fuel.Bioethanol production process involves five stages. The first stage is the process of pressing. The second stage is prefermentation process consisting of decreasing the pH by adding 98% H2SO4, sterilization process, and preparation theprocess of a starter with the addition of nutrients and Sacharomycess cerevisiae. The third stage is the process offermentation for 48 hours with the addition of inoculum from the starter and antifoam tank. The fourth stage isdistillation. The fifth phase is a dehydration molecular shieve to increase ethanol content to be 99,5%.Bioethanol plant is operated for 24 hours per day with a period time of 330 days a year. The main product is bioethanol.Bioethanol plant capacity is 751,32 tons / year and required to 1489,336 m3/year.
