Admission Criteria
(1) General PCP Eligibility Criteria:• Be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident;• Minimum age of 21 years;• Graduated from full-time studies or completed National Service for at least two years (whichever is most recent), prior to the course
commencement date* [Check if you meet criteria: https://www.checkfirst.gov.sg/c/d410f4c8-1762-40b6-a46b-59c6c67a6cda];• Not a current nurse or nursing student;• Does not possess a valid Practising Certificate with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) and is not eligible for the Return to Nursing (RTN)
programme Individuals with nursing qualifications but are currently not practising may wish to check if you are eligible to join the Return to Nursing (RTN) programme at https://www.healthprofessionals.gov.sg/snb/registration-enrolment/return-to-nursing-course.
Individuals who have nursing qualifications from overseas training schools/colleges/universities should check directly with SNB on your eligibility to practise as a nurse in Singapore. More information can be found at https://www.healthprofessionals.gov.sg/snb/registration-enrolment/application-for-registration-enrolment/foreign-trained-nurses-midwives. Alternatively, you may contact SNB at SNB@spb.gov.sg.
(2) Academic Entry Requirements:• Bachelor degree from a recognised university in a discipline other than nursing; or• Local polytechnic diploma in a discipline other than nursing; or• 3 GCE ‘A’ level credits (Grades A to E) with 2 GCE ‘O’ level credits (Grades A1 to C6) in a Science subject and Mathematics
(3) Note:Meeting the above requirements does not guarantee enrolment into the CCP. Admission is based on a holistic assessment of the candidate and subject to other requirements including clearing the medical test and securing sponsorship from a participating organisation.
