miljoen mensen bestaan, volgens Ernst&Young. Daarnaast zijn ruim 200.000 Indiërs
miljonair (+1 miljoen US dollar).
- Sourcing: Agrarische producten, textiel, grondstoffen, industriële producten (Make
in India)
geheel.
• Pune is India’s eerste WiFi-city.

In
georganiseerd. Velsen heeft samen met Jaap
Bond, de consul-generaal, Amsterdam In
Business en de NFIA een aantal specifieke
bedrijven bezocht. Er zijn daarnaast twee
gezamenlijke investment seminars georganiseerd,
één in Mumbai en één in Pune. In totaal zijn daar
ongeveer 200 Indiase bedrijven aanwezig geweest
die zijn geïnformeerd over en geïnteresseerd voor
investeren in en zakendoen met Nederland,
Noord-Holland en de MRA. Er is daar ook
uitvoerig individueel met de aanwezige Indiase
bedrijven gesproken.
verder gaande groeikansen.
Actief in diverse branches,
waaronder offshore.
wereldwijd.
Kirloskar was zeer inspirerend.
Donderdagmiddag/avond: Trade- investment seminar
Vrijdag
In
wandelpaden is nagedacht over watergebruik/doorlating etc.
Uitgebreid
gesproken over de ontwikkelingen in de
offshore wind daar. Vooralsnog zijn die
plannen beperkt.
India interessant. Het exporteren van onze
kennis, zowel qua bouw/installatie als havens
naar India is dan interessant. Ook het
aanhaken van Suzlon Hengelo op onze ambitie
is interessant.
Mumbai duurt ongeveer 2½ uur.
Men zoekt en
Over zaken doen in India, over
Velsen zal
zich daarvoor inspannen.

Parekh group
Five decades back we began as a trading based organisation and have today diversified into
shipping, logistics and hospitality.
It is our familial traits that make us one strong team. As individual units, our companies offer
specialised and in-depth expertise in the domain they function. Each, a major player in their
chosen specialisation but together, they are like the flock of birds. One team.
Our inspiration
Have you ever noticed the head of a stream? It's that point of origin from where the stream
begins to gush out and birds flutter off on a journey. These birds, though belonging to different
species, exhibit unmatched coordination. They become a single unit, changing directions and
reaching destinations with precision, exemplifying oneness. Parekh Group is figurative of this
culture.

Our fuel-transformation
Change is a constant and natural phenomenon. It helps us innovate, come out of our comfort
zones and push ourselves to the best of our capabilities. It's rather amazing how these birds
exemplify this simple truth.
Infrastructure
To serve the growing demands of the Indian industry and its economics, we went on to
establish two inland Container Freight Stations (CFS), one at Mundra and another at JNPT.
Connectivity
Today, we have 21 strategically positioned offices at all minor and major ports in India and an
overseas office to expedite cargo movement. All our offices are well connected and are
