Summary and Conclusion
To meet electricity demand, a total of 5.7 GW new additional hydropowerplant has been planned for the next ten years and 20% expected to be
developed by private ( IPP ).
Indonesia has abundant hydropower potential, as for supporting the
energy conservation policy , development plan as a peak power plant willreduce oil consum tion.
PLN has identified a total of 12.9 GW of hydropower plant for the next
15 years development and 35 % propossed to be developed by IPP.
FIT for small and medium scale renewable energy ( RE ) will acceleratethe development of renewable energy and attract private participation.
