Important Dates
Product End of Support Comments
Z15 on Gen5 31 Oct 2021 Although support for these hardware platforms continues through
30 April 2025, for z15 connections the last day of support is 31
Oct 2021. The replacement for the 6510s the G620. The
replacement for the 8510-8 and 8510-4 are the X6-8 and X6-4.
Gen5 30 April 2025 For FICON, these are the 8510-4, 8510-8, and 6510 products.
Network Advisor 8 Feb 2022 SANnav is the replacement product. Most customers plan the
management system upgrade to coincide a few months prior to
the end of their Network Advisor support contract. Since there is a
free 90 day trial license for SANnav, this gives customers a no
cost transition period.
