INTRODUCTION
8TH PROJECT NAIROBI
Faniki Community Based Organization was able to conduct its 8th and last project of 2019 on the 22nd of December at Shauri Moyo Rehabilitation Centre in Nairobi. This was more of a fun day and counselling session in the spirit of the Christmas Holidays. For the first time we were able to include entertainment in our project thus the boys had a lot of fun. The main aim of this project was to make the less fortunate feel loved during the festive season and we thank GOD that it was a success because at the end of the day we could feel the impact that we had left behind. It was a day full of laughter, joy and love.
Spread the love
with the little that you have. It will not go unnoticed for sure.

The project was a success and it started at approximately 14:00 P.M with an introduction session between Faniki and the management of Shauri Moyo Rehabilitation Centre. Later on Faniki members were taken round the centre to have a glimpse of where the boys sleep. Afterwards presentations were presented by the boys and Victor Njoroge facilitated the session. After the presentations members and the boys proceeded outside to play with the board games alongside there was plenty of snacks and thanks to the Dj there was music to entertain everyone. Victor Njoroge facilitated the dancing competition as well as the musical chairs which was full of laughter. The cake cutting ceremony took place in the evening alongside with the presentation of the donated items to the boys. Some of the issues that the boys highlighted was the lack of school fees for two secondary boys and lack of job opportunities for the men that were done with their vocational training. Faniki members took note of the challenges and offered to help in the smallest way possible.
