Agenda 2:
The Board has considered Admissions to Ph.D. Programme (2018-2019) of the Indian Nationals
and also the Foreign Nationals in Political Science, Public Administration & Human Rights. The
Board also approved the Ph.D. Admission of one physically challenged student.

them optional instead of compulsory paper. The Board also authorized the chair to make
consequential changes, if required.
b. The Board discussed the Progress report of Research Scholar Ms. Amal Mousa Naim Alzarou,
(En.No. GI-5687/D.O.R.03.03.2015) Topic: "Post 2010 Middle East: Problems and Prospects"
Supervisor: Prof. Arshi Khan. The Board decided that the draft of the Ph.D. thesis submitted by
Ms. Amal Mousa Naim Alzarou to her supervisor needs to be changed to the satisfaction of the
supervisor.
c. The Board approved that the Department of Political Science, AMU shall organize an ICSSR
sponsored national seminar on the topic “Towards a Just India: Prospects & Challenges,” in the
next academic session (2019-2020). The Board also decided that Dr. Khurram will be convener of
the seminar.
