ChrisBriggsI left home at 15 and went to live at a Greyhound Kennels from there I went to work with show dogs. Dog grooming has provided me with a wonderful life surrounded by animals, I dare not think about how different my life would be without it. Teaching is also a passion of mine and passing on the information that I have picked up over the years gives me a great deal of pleasure. Dog grooming has allowed me to combine my creativity with my love of beautiful dogs - I feel very blessed.

KirstyYoungI began grooming dogs as a 5yr old girl copying off my mother with her poodles and absorbing every bit of advice given from so many wonderful breeders of poodles over almost 30yrs of showing. Grooming and showing gave me such a wonderful relationship with my parents, my mother the groomer and my dad my cheerleader even from his hospital bed when I won first ever grooming competition. Grooming is now not just a hobby and my biggest passion, but my career in teaching too. I dreamed big and I made it happen and I cant ever seeing myself doing anything else.

Growing up in a house full of dogs watching in awe as my mother and father both prepped their dogs ready for the show ring, I always knew dogs would play a huge part in my life. I would rush home from school to watch my mother groom other people’s dogs for a living and think wow this is what I want to do. Grooming has giving me so many opportunities in life I honestly can’t imagine what else I would have done as a career and wouldn’t change it for the world. I love all things grooming the process, the friendships, the knowledge and most importantly my style.

Grooming came into my life at the perfect time and it was by accident in honesty, I didn’t know they needed to be groomed until I moved to the Uk. I never felt like I achieved anything big in my life and never felt I was pushing myself until I started dog grooming. Through grooming we can express ourselves, we never stop learning if we keep pushing ourselves to be better, I love this art so much and it’s all thanks to my love of dogs. Dogs are my second love after my family, we need to respect them because they make us the groomers we are.

MichDaleI have always had a love of animals, from cats & dogs to horses, I first competed with my horses, showjumping all over the UK, then my passion turned to dogs and grooming… as they say the rest is history. Grooming has given me many opportunities over the years and I have also met some wonderful inspiring people. I will be forever greatful for the journey my furry friends have taken me.
