Biography

Peter Deunov (later known as Beinsa

Douno) was born on July 11th, 1864near the Black Sea, son of a BulgarianOrthodox priest of singular devotion andvision. From 1888 - 1895 he studiedmedicine and theology in the USA wherehe made a remarkable impression onthose who knew him. Returning to hisown country, he withdrew mainly intothe mountains to prepare for his Divinework.In 1897 he began his teaching work andin 1898 issued a ‘Call to My People.’ In1900 he set up the ‘Fellowship of Light,’based on Divine Love, Wisdom, Truth,Justice and Goodness. From then on hetravelled throughout the country,teaching and healing, eventually

establishing his base in Sofia, where acommunity gradually grew up aroundhim and regular lectures were given.Annual congresses were held in Augustand continue to this day in the RilaMountains near the Seven Sacred Lakes.Paneurhythmy (Dance of Life) wasgradually taught to the hundreds ofpeople who camped there with him,inspired by his teaching and presence.He passed over on the 27th December1944 leaving a following of 40,000people. Since then his teachings havecontinued to be practiced, most notablythe Paneurhythmy which was firstperformed in secret during the 44 yearsof oppression which he had predicted,

and now openly and worldwide becauseof their remarkable life-enhancingqualities and evolutionary potential.

The Sacred Power of the Sun When the Sun rises in the morning, itrises for all, because it loves all. It isconsiderate to all beings – from thelowest to the highest ones – and that iswhy all turn their eyes to it. But does theSun say to us that we have to enter it? Ittells us only to make use of the benefitsit is giving. And just as it illuminates theworld, so should we shed light and

enlighten those around us. The greeting of the Sun is good for boththe physical and spiritual life of man.The flow of solar energy is mostpowerful and invigorating at sunrise. Itis not merely an outward act. Man musthave that internal disposition of the Soulthat allows him to accept the powerswhich the Sun gives abundantly. The Sunrepresents the Divine life that risescontinually in the human Soul. Forms are important in the world forthey regulate our lives. We need to payspecial attention to them. If I were tobuild an unhygienic house for you with

no windows on the southern side, butonly leave a few on the northern side,and if I were to build this house deeplyinto the ground, then do you know howyou would feel after you have lived inthis house for six or seven years? Youwill have a number of doctors comingand going in and out of your house muchthe same way that all those teachers whotell you that you do not need to havewindows into the Spiritual world arefirst-rate deceivers. That is where theSun of Life is. I would even say that yourroofs should be made of glass so that theSun can shine on you from above. If youhave bright houses that were built likethis, your forms will change and youwill become very beautiful.

When you go on an excursion choose theplaces well lit by the Sun. These are thesouthern slopes of the mountain. There is always more prana or vitalenergy in the mornings than at noon. Atthat time, the organism absorbs thegreatest amount and the most powerfulpositive energies. The first rays of thesun (at sunrise) are the most energetic;the Sun reaches the pinnacle of itsaction. Every day at sunrise you must wish tohave love in your heart and truth in yourmind. Thus you shall be joyous and

cheerful all day long. To make matterseasier and smoother, every morningwhen you get up, you must put yourhands on top of your head and tellyourself: "God I want to serve you withmy entire mind, with all my heart, withall my Soul and all my spirit!" Those who have lost the meaning in lifemust greet the Sun every morning. Get upand see the rising Sun for a month andsee how you will feel then. In springtimelook at the flowers and trees in bloom. People today often like to speculate withsophisticated phrases about the existenceof God and to ask if there is a God. I do

not solve this question in a philosophicway, but I just say that God exists as theSun is shining. Imagine that you areawake always during the night time, andin daytime when the Sun is shining yousleep; that you are always woke up atsunset. You explore the world always atnight and in twenty years you say:"There is no Sun". I object: change yourlife style, sleep at night and be awake inthe daytime when the Sun is shining –and you will see it. Whom is the Sun created for? The sun iscreated for those who can make use ofits light arid heat. This sun is created byGod. If you cannot benefit from its light

and heat, the sun is not created for you. In the morning, at sunrise, the Earth isnegative, i.e. it receives the greatestamount of energy. This is an extremelyimportant fact that helps to estimate thesignificance of the sunrise. We shouldkeep in mind the following law: We area part of the organism of the Earth. Forthat reason, when that organismreceives, the human organism receivesas well; and vice versa – when the Earthgives, the human being gives as well.That is why the first Sun rays are themost active. Great meaning is hidden in the Sun.

Those who dislike the Sun do not loveGod. The Sun does not demand yourbows or services. It only gives and says:"Take all you want from me." How canyou repay the Great? The Great onlygives and you must apply what is givento you. There is the same relation between thehuman organism and the Sun as there isbetween God and the human Soul.Without it, without this communion aman cannot grow. The Sun's rays aremost powerful at dawn. It is then that thehuman organism is most susceptible tothe Sun energies. What the Sun givesmust be accepted and transformed. A

man gets energy from the Sun for hisbrain, for his lungs, his stomach, and hisbody. There is reason hidden in thisenergy. To greet the rising Sun means toconnect meaningfully with it so that itspowers can flow through your organism.The more sunlight a man gets ontohimself, the mellower and moremagnetic he gets. When a man greets thesunlight lovingly then he benefits from it. If someone is indisposed, let him take asunbath; if he has lost his own energy, lethim stay longer under its shine; if he isdisappointed in his ideal, if he cannotdecide how to work, let him go outunder the sunrays to warm up.

The supreme Sun energies cannot begained all the time. There are favourableconditions for acquiring Sun energies inthe morning. At that time, the atmosphereand people are quiet, and energy istransmitted in a harmonious way. Whenthe Sun rises, everything awakes andstarts living, then a number of emotionsarise and the whole atmosphere stirs intoaction. In order to be strong and healthy youmust make use of the morning air andsunlight. Each time I come to the Divine Love I

keep sacred silence. There is nothingmore beautiful than that silence. It is asilence which speaks. When a rationalman is silent, he is emanating somethingbeautiful. The stove is also silent duringthe winter, but a pleasant heat emanatesfrom it. The lighted candle is also silent,but it gives a soft light by which youread and study. The Sun is also silent,but it emanates heat and light which givelife to all beings. Sometimes you see the physical Sunthrough the clouds and you enjoy it, butif you just once have the opportunity tosee the Sun of Life, when it rises youwill never forget it and nothing will be

able to take its place. In the Sun of Lifeyou will see God, who will speak toyou. I declare that the physical Sun affects aman one way while the Sun of Life – inan entirely different way. When thephysical Sun rises a man is happy, hemoves, works and he has desire tocorrect his lifestyle, to plough his fields,to plant his gardens, to build a house etc.When the Sun of Life rises he wants toget on well with all people; at the sametime all living creatures from smallest tothe largest become loved and dear tohim. Only a man who has been warmedfrom the Sun of Life can understand all

people who suffer, he can understand allpeople who commit a sin and he will tryto help them. What do modern people know about theSun? They say that the Sun is a shininghigh temperature body and it is at a greatdistance from the Earth. They knowmany things about the Sun yet there isone thing they do not know: they do noteven suspect that this Sun is a reflectionof the Divine Sun, i.e. the Divine Eyethat sees everything and urges everybodyto work – it awakens some, gives animpetus for work to others, calls a thirdgroup to life. It says to the tree: “Youwill grow up, you will work hard.”

When the tree gets that order, thatimpetus, it starts working. When it meetsa spider it says: “You will knit yourweb.” After it gives its orders, the Sunclimbs up high and from there itmonitors the way they are doing theirjob. When they get weary of work, allliving beings start looking for ways tohide away from the Divine Eye – at theinstant they want to hide away from God,from the Sun, they drop the clouds.Therefore, clouds are curtains of the lazyand disobedient men who want to hidetheir deeds from the watchful eye of theGreat One. He will look from here, lookfrom there – nothing can be seen. Thenhe sends the wind to tear those curtains.When the wind comes, when it starts

blowing, blustering, it raises the curtainsand asks the beings hiding underneath:“What are you doing here, why are youhiding?” If you want to warm yourself, go out intothe sunlight. It brings life, joy andfreedom. When I say that a specific light shouldenter your consciousness, you should notworry. This light will come of itself, youneed only climb a high mountain peakand wait there. You know that the Sunfirst illuminates the mountain peaks, thenthe valleys, do you not? In the same waythis light will illuminate first the peaks

of your consciousness, then its valleys.You are required to make efforts toclimb the high Divine peak, where lightcomes at the earliest time. Later it goesto the valleys and to the plains.Therefore when you ask about theadvantages of the Esoteric school, youshould know that it shows its disciplesthe Right path for climbing the highDivine peaks which are the first to beilluminated by the Divine rays of therising Sun. If you live in a basement, where sunlightdoes not penetrate, it is natural in suchconditions to catch rheumatism orconsumption and other diseases. Go outin the Sun, because the favourable

conditions are above ground. Warmth creates certain forms in people.Light also creates certain forms. Life hascertain forms as well. Every flowcreates its own particular forms. Thewarmth and light of the Sun have a bigimpact first on the religious state ofpeople as well as on science. You shallstrive to preserve this warmth and lightwithin yourselves. You shall never losethe small warmth that you have in thesolar plexus! This warmth shouldalways exist in you. It is necessary toyou. If you have this warmth you areinvulnerable.

Fire is often interpreted as a destructiveelement but though it truly destroys, itcan be constructive as well. It is the firedescending from above, from the Sunthat built our planet and our bodies. It isthis fire that imparted thoughts andaspirations in us. Everything gets frozenwithout fire. So the word growth impliesfire. Let those who have lost the sense of lifegreet the sunrise every morning. Watchthe sunrise in the course of a month andsee what you feel. In the spring, whenthe flowers bloom and the trees areblossoming, watch them and see theresult - you will feel the sense of life.

What do people do today? They sleepuntil 10 o’clock in the morning and in theafternoon about sunset they go out toenjoy its dying beams of light. Now if the Sun did not exist, what itwould be like, what would happen?There would be such darkness and cold,which nobody could endure. When theSun comes the conditions get better. It isa law: When Love comes to the humansoul, it makes things better. I ask how can you find what you lack? Ifyou lack heat, where can you find it? Inthe Sun. If you lack light, where can youfind it? In the Sun. You will say that any

burning or heating body gives light. Wealso have for example, heat coming froma lit oil-lamp, from a candle or a burningpiece of wood. Right, but this heat issecondary. Solar energy is the energystored in candles, wood and othercombustible bodies and it is turned intolight or heat accordingly. Furthermore,solar energy represents the most pleasantwarmth and the purest light. Primarywarmth and light come directly from theSun. Never keep your head facingdownwards to the ground, as you willconnect with the forces of the Earth,which will affect your thoughts.

Therefore, keep your head up, so thatyou will connect your thoughts with theforces coming from the Sun. It is at timesnecessary for one to take a look at theground, but if one constantly looks at theground, this person will becomedistorted.

The one who comes in the world, whoalways comes, He comes in the morningSun and leaves with the sunset. Hecomes in the clear air that we breatheand leaves with the unclear air. Hecomes in the limpid water that we drink,

goes away with the turbid water wemake. He comes in the clean meal thatwe make and goes away with theunclean meal. Somebody says, "I am sad." Fine, keepyour eyes open! "But my Soul finds it sodifficult." Keep your eyes open! "Myback aches." Bask in the Sun! Keep yourmind vigilant and alert and open youreyes to God! The Sun has always shone and isshining, but at times we see it, while atother times we do not see it. That ishowever a temporary condition, achanged environment depending eitheron the position of the Earth, or upon

ourselves. The Sun is always shining forthose whose consciousness is alwaysawake. Get up in the morning when the Sun isrising; look at God and you will find theway. Some of the exercises you will do in themorning and the others in the evening,because in the morning you are positive,and in the evening you are negative. Thisis why people are sad when the Sun goesdown. So, when one wants to becomehumble, one has to pray in the evening.When one wants to pray for beingmerciful, one has to pray in the morning.The energy of the Earth is positive in the

morning, and it is negative in theafternoon. The same is true of humanbeings. This explains why the psalm-singer says that Joy comes in themorning. Joy is positive energy, grief –negative. The good is positive energy,the evil – negative. God evaluates both the Sun and thehuman being. The Sun hides powerfulforces, but God renders the same valueto it as to the human being. A personasks, "What can I do? In what does myworth lie?" Your worth lies in theconnection you can make. The humanmind can make a connection between theSun and the Earth. People have come tothe Earth exactly for this – to make this

connection. The new age that is coming now has noneed to prove itself and to convincepeople about its existence. The Sun doesnot need philosophers to prove that itexists. How big it is, what does it do,there is no need to prove this.Philosophers are necessary when theSun sets down. Prophets are necessarywhen the sun sets down. Mothers andfathers are necessary when the sun setsdown. When the Sun rises everybodymust be at work. A new credo isnecessary. To receive what the Sun is giving us, weshould have a relation to it – not only to

the physical matter, but also to theBeings that live there, and to associatewith their consciousness. If you want to heal yourself, expose yourback to the early morning solar rays. Ifyou want to attain inner peace, exposeyour back to the setting Sun with yourface turned to the East. In this state, youwill feel deep inner peace and realizethat it is not worth to worry about trivialmatters. The citizens of the Sun live ingreat abundance, as a result of whichthey do not worry about anything. Theirtask is to send goods all over the SolarSystem. They determine the budget of allbeings, of all states and nations, of allinhabitants on all the planets.

If a person meets the Sun every daycontinuously for a whole year in aproper way, no matter if the weather isclear, cloudy and rainy, or there aresnowstorms and tempests, he or shecould become ingenious. From the Sun descends regular,rhythmical and harmonious energies, buthere we influence them with ourthoughts. When the Sun energies passthrough that medium, they lose theirrhythm of regular vibrations. Therefore,the higher a person ascends to receivethe sun energy, the more regular andrhythmical it will be.

Everybody considers proving theexistence of God to the people to be aprivilege. The Sun does not need anyproof. It shines. Even the smallestcreatures feel its presence. One hour before sunrise, the Sun’senergy has a psychic influence over thecells of the body – it renovates theirenergy and creates a new impulse foractivity within them. The rays, whichdeflect through the atmosphere beforesunrise, have greater influence on thebrain. At the time of sunrise, the rays,which come in a line, have an influenceon the respiratory system and oursensitivity. Around noon, the same raysinfluence the digestive system. Therefore

the healing effect of the Sun energy isdifferent: before sunrise it improves thecentral nervous system, at sunrise itstrengthens the respiratory system, andfrom 9-12 a.m. – it strengthens thestomach, i.e. at that time of the day theSun’s rays generate a healing effect overthe diseased stomach. In the afternoon,generally, the Sun energy has lowhealing results… The warmth of the Sunis not the main healing factor, but othersupreme energies that we can call prana(vital energy), which the Earth receivesin the morning. People believe they cannot attain theirwishes when darkness is in theirconsciousness. When the Sun rises in

their consciousness, their wishesbecome attainable. So, as long you have conditions, as longas nature has provided you with acertain amount of energy, you have touse it wisely. If you do not use it,somebody else will take your place.There are others behind you, who arewaiting their turn. Nothing in nature andin life is random. If you can wisely usewhat nature has determined for you, youwill find yourselves in favourable Lifeconditions; if you cannot use it, you willfind yourselves in conditions that areunfavourable for the development of themind, heart, and will. As long as youhave a desire, a stimulus for work within

yourselves, you will have theopportunity to use the energy, and theconditions, which nature has envisagedfor you. The budget for each person, foreach society, for each people, and for allof humankind is determined by the Sun.Nowadays, the Sun sends more physicalenergy to the Earth, i.e. today people aremore capable of taking in the physicalenergy of the Sun, rather than thespiritual one. In the future, when theSixth race comes on the Earth, peoplewill have the ability to take in spiritualenergy from the Sun as well. So, theenergies are different; thus, we say thatthere are physical energies, energy of theheart, energy of the mind, and energy ofthe will. As you study people, you will

see what energy emanates from eachperson. With the rising of the Sun, the power ofthe man increases. When we say that people have to live apure, holy, wise life, we mean to say thatthey have to use the correspondingenergies of the Sun. The more elevatedaspirations a person has, the bigger theirability to connect with the higher Sunenergies. Otherwise, they will beconnecting with the lower earthlyenergies, which will suck them into thedense matter, where the way out is verydifficult.

When speaking about the Sun, we do notmean only the outer Sun. It is a reflectionof the big, the Great Inner Sun. In orderto imagine what kind of thing the InnerSun is, man has to think, to look at thingsby spirit, not by letter, not by outer form. The Sun is an emblem; it symbolizes theGod of the physical world, it representsthe Great principle which gives life. The Sun energies are positive and havea beneficial impact on people; earthlyenergies are negative and impact peopleadversely. The former energies help theadvancement of the person, and the latter– the fall. Connect with the energiescoming from above, not with the lower

energies of the Earth. Those forces,which oppose human progress, aim tocut off the communication between thehigher energies of the Sun and thepeople, in order to place peopleexclusively under the influence of thelower earthly energies. As long as theSun energies prevail over the earthlycurrents in people, they have the abilityto free themselves from the illusions ofthe world, from the distorted situationsin their lives. The Sun brings new ideas,new inventions, new philosophy, newreligion, and new science. The Sun willwipe out and burn the old, and turn itinto ash. The Sun will bring the pure,holy Life to the Earth. For who? For theSouls that are ready. The person who is

ready is like a bud waiting for the Sun toshine on it to blossom. A person has to be like a flower, open tothe Sun in order to take in its energy,only this is capable of bringing theflower to fruition. The mind of a personhas to turn to the Sun light, only this candiffuse the darkness in their life and aidtheir growth. If a person takes in the Sunlight, life unfolds correctly on its own. Every stalk coming from the ground willsee the rays of the Sun.

When you get up in the morning, do notbe in a hurry to start working; washyourselves, stand up straight andconcentrate your thought towards thecentre of the Earth in order to perceiveits energies; then direct these energiestowards the centre of the Sun; then againdirect your thought towards the centre ofthe Earth and so on. After doing thisexercise several times, move a little upand down. Finally, stay quiet and calm,and send your prayer of thanks to theOne, who has sent you to the Earth andhas given you all conditions for growthand development. Get in touch with Hisconsciousness and thank Him – not in

words only, but from the depth of yourSoul. Then get in touch with theconsciousness of the good and sensibleBeings in the world, who work for yourelevation. Thank these Beings, thank thegreat powers in the world, who, alongwith their great task to guide the fortunesof the whole humankind, have sparedtime for you as well, for the creation ofgood and favourable conditions for yourdevelopment. If for the period of one month, an illperson exposed his back to the Sun andpondered upon it, he would learn morefrom the Sun itself than if he read all thatscientists have said about it.

Blooming of flowers is nothing else butthankfulness, gratitude which they sendtowards the Sun for the favours done byit. The condition of the seeds of flowersis not easy while they are earthed intothe soil. However, after they sprout,after they appear on the surface of theearth and start growing up, blooming andgiving fruit, they speak out theirthankfulness to the Sun, to the humidity,to the air for the assistance in theirdevelopment. While looking at theflowers, the Sun smiles and continuouslypromises to send them its energy.Therefore every thought, every feelingand every action in man should be as the

blossoms of plants are – they shouldexpress the thankfulness of man to God,to all bright and elevated Beings for thegoods which they have given to them. A doctor who enters your house will tellyou: “Your house is not healthfulbecause it is to the north; you have to getout from this room and move into asouthern room; you better leave thewindows wide open so that you let in thefresh air and light; replace the bedding,mind your food etc.” Likewise, Lovesays: “Your room is to the north, it is nothealthful, you have to move to a roomfacing south where the Sun can shine onyou.

Learn from the Sun. When you see it inthe morning, it greets you with a smile. It is preferable for man to go throughsufferings rather than spend an easy,luxurious life; it is preferable for man tostay all day in the vineyard, to getblisters on his hands and to get his facesunburned rather than have no blistersand his face remain fair, not touched bythe Sun. One, who works at the Divinevineyard, will always have a share in it.Nature likes hard-working, diligentpeople while it turns its back on lazypeople. Man should be fair internally notexternally. Externally he may be fair or

sunburned – this is not important. Workis required from everyone – nothingmore. If you work, nature will help youand God will assist you. The sun sets in one direction – it meansthat one grows old and dies. The sunrises from another direction – one isborn. Old age is to the west and youth isto the east. In the Divine life where Absolute Purityreigns, there is not forgetfulness. In theDivine life everything happens preciselyon time. Precision is a quality of thepure life. Those who do not live inpurity obscure the horizon of their sky in

the same way as the clouds obscure theSun. That is why you hear certain peoplesay, "I am somewhat sad." – Yes, yoursky is cloudy. If you want your sky toclear out, you have to serve God, torespect yourself and to love yourneighbour. If the Sun does not rise, if water does notflow, if air does not blow and if powerdoes not impel, the new will not comeinto the world. The Divine Spirit bearsall the bounties of life. Religious people prepare themselves topass through all the planets and finally

settle on the Sun. This will be, but notnow. You are not ready for the otherplanets yet. It is worth going round allthe planets and stars, but only if youachieve something or mend your ways.Otherwise, just passing by and seeingnew things without getting to the pointwould be a futile effort. There will comea day when you will be able to travelfreely from one planet to another, but notin your present bodies. You need to forma new body, capable of dissembling andassembling so that it would be easy foryou to move from one place to another.One day people will be travellingwithout ships, trains or planes. Theywill have a new type of body, shapedand structured differently. They will

have a new kind of Light and knowledge.They will be acquainted with the laws ofthe Universe and able to apply them.Then they will not toil the land the waythey do now, but sustain themselves in away unknown to today’s scientists. To renovate yourselves, you have to getup early every morning to be able toreceive the first rays of the Sun. Theycarry within them light and elevatedthoughts. You may say that the rays oflight are nothing more than vibrations,oscillations of ether. It is true that lightis oscillations, vibrations, but these arelife-bearing vibrations.

If you go out in the morning to welcomethe sunrise, at first you will see a dimlight, which will gradually becomebrighter and brighter until the Sun is up.Once the Sun has risen, this beautifulsight disappears and the picture ischanged. My question is what doesnature want to reveal to us from thebreak of dawn until the Sun is up? Whatdoes She want to say to us from sunrisetill sunset? There are two symbols inthese moments in nature. With the firstmoment, from the break of dawn till thesunrise, nature teaches us the two greatlaws of Wisdom and Truth. This lessonlasts for two hours and it is full ofsudden changes. After the Sun is up

however, nature teaches us somethingelse. She teaches us the law of warmth,i.e. the law of Love. At that time not somany sudden changes take place in thesights, but most changes occur in thetemperature. At first it is cool, but aftersome time it becomes warmer andwarmer until it gets very hot. So, whenyour life is at its sunrise, you will usethe first symbol. When you go out everymorning to meet the Sun, you shouldkeep the picture, the idea of the risingSun in your mind. And when I look athow the dawn breaks, I will fill myselfwith inspiration – my Soul will be filledwith the principles of Wisdom andTruth; but after the Sun is risen, I willsay that the moment of Divine Love has

come! Then all day long I will study thechanges that occur in Love. This is theBeauty of nature! It is enough for man to direct his gazetowards the rising Sun to disperse theclouds gathered inside hisconsciousness. Such a thing is the Primalconsciousness. It is enough for man tolink up with that consciousness, so hecan disperse the anguish and sufferinggathered within him. The Primalconsciousness is the Sun on the horizonof our spiritual life. It is in a position toawaken the consciousness of every man,to bring in more light, more life into it.

When one meets the sunrise, they shouldhave an idea about it. The Sun is anemblem of the Great Source in theworld. All the good wishes are to be plantedonly in the morning; nothing should beplanted in the evening. Seeds grow in theevening; seeds should be planted in themorning. This is the rule in the spiritualworld. Do you know what morningmeans? Morning is youth. In the morning,the Sun is a young lad, at noon – the Sunis a married man, while in the evening –an old grandfather. When you watch theSun in the evening, it says to you, ‘Well,everything is gone, it has been a hundred

years since; you should have come whenI was young, when I worked, so that Icould give you something. The human brain is like the Earth, whichcannot produce by itself; rather, thecreative power comes from space. It isthe Sun that affects the surface of theEarth, and because a foundation exists,the Sun can build onto this foundation; itcan produce and create on it. The humanSpirit is the human Sun that shines on thehuman brain and generates thoughts. We do not know what the Sun is; thescientists say that it is situated 92million kilometres away from the Earth;

it may be so - we do not know; there canbe a few million kilometres error in thiscalculation. If we decide to check, it isquestionable whether we will find it atthe point defined by the scientists. Andwhat is the internal state of the Sun - aprofound philosophy. Some say that it isliquid, some say solid. It may be that oneand the other is true. But of the lightwhich descends, we already have a realconception, because we see that, whichcomes down from the Sun and revealsbefore our eyes the whole Earth with allthe objects upon her. The light is Spirit,which comes down from the Sun and hasdirect contact with our life. To this Sunwe can also liken the Spirit. He will notdescend any other way, for if He

descends, He will melt, like the Sun,everything we see around us; everythingwill become dust and ashes, or it will beturned into a gaseous state. This is whyGod says: "I will not come down, butwill send through space My Spirit tobring people My blessing". This is whyGod does not want to come down to usbut sends His Spirit - the light. ThisSpirit, this creative capability, is exactlywhat builds within us. Everything wehave, we owe to Him. Deprive any flower, any plant of sunlightand you will witness the abrupt changethat will occur. Deprive any being ofLove and you will witness the same law

in action. You will say, "Today's Sun looks likeyesterdays, it rises in the same way". -No! I have not seen in my life two daysalike and the Sun to rise in the sameway; every day differs from others andeach has its own program. And the lightwhich comes is not the same: it differsfrom the light which came several daysago. Here exactly is the greatness of theDivine Spirit.

If you could visit the Sun with the Eye ofa clairvoyant, you would understand themagnitude of the energy with which itsends out its rays. You say that a rocketis very powerful because it shoots out ashell to a distance of 120 km. Butimagine the power and speed of the lightwaves emitted by the Sun every secondand the distance they pass beforestopping at a place! According to thephysicians, light travels at 300,000km/sec. Can you imagine this power?These rays gradually weaken and theirbrightness decreases since light dependson the rate of velocity. The greater thevelocity, the more powerful the light

until this wave reaches the final limit;stops and turns into darkness. The new in the world is the rising Sun,and the old the setting Sun. This is a lawof nature.

I regard the energy of the Sun as a livingenergy. Everything grows, blossoms andripens in it. That living energy comesonly early in the morning when the Sunrises. The clever man, seeing that his organismis lacking from a certain type of energy,gathers it from the Sun. He knows thatthe Sun can provide for any lack of

energy in the human organism. During the spring months, it is importantto make use of the renewing power ofnature. Even one open window has acertain influence. Yet if you are awarethat behind the window there is aSentient Being who is opening thewindow, the influence is different. I willinterpret: every morning the Sun rises inthe east. In the rising of the Sun, we needto perceive the Sentient Beings. Think only about nature, which is full oflife and energy. Get in touch with theenergies of nature, which can renovate.Think about the Sun, which spreads its

energy throughout the whole world. Stayaway from those spheres of life wherethere is stagnation of energies. There’s nothing bad in eating, but manshould know how and what to eat. It hasbeen observed that if he eats after sunset,he does not feel so well as if he haddinner before sunset. When the Sun shines, the earth is roused,the waters bubble out into springs andstart flowing, the winds blow, theflowers bloom, the trees bear fruit andman awakes and begins to think. When the dawn is breaking within you,

manifest your hope.When the Sun rises within you, manifestyour faith.When the Sun comes to its zenith withinyou, manifest your love.Hope is in the physical world.Faith is in the Spiritual world.Love is in the Divine world. The energies that come from the Suncontain a store of vital and healingpowers. If people wish to make wise useof the Sun’s energies, they should standwith their back to the rays of the Sun forhalf an hour before it rises and directtheir thoughts towards it.

The budget of every person, society,nation and indeed of the whole ofhumanity is determined by the Sun. TheSun is currently sending more physicalenergy to the earth, that is to say, peopleare currently able to accept morephysical than Spiritual energy from theSun. In the future, people will also beable to receive the Spiritual energy ofthe Sun. To meet the sunrise is always beneficial,even when the Sun is covered by clouds- because the Sun’s energy permeates theclouds. In all cases, the sunrise brings an

elevation in man. In spring and in summer from 22ndMarch each year it is recommendablefor man to go early to bed and to riseearly to welcome the sunrise and accepthis part from it - like the bees gather thenectar from the flowers. Itis better to go barefooted and perceivethe energy of the earth. This would healyou. Keep always your head erect. Why?Because this way you allow for theenergies coming from the Sun to passfreely through your lungs. If you do notkeep your head erect, the solar energiescannot pass through your lungs, as a

result of which man gets a disturbance ofhealth. Walk erect, do not stoop. Eachstoop affects harmfully the lungs.Observe these rules if you want to befree. If you go out to meet the Sun early in themorning, be there on time before it risesabove the horizon. Meet the first ray ofthe rising Sun. It is the most importantone; it is the son of truth. It contains theenergy and might of the Sun. If you donot receive the first ray, you have missedthe sunrise. Receive the first ray andcalmly return home. The first ray of theSun brings the wealth of all the rays. Thefirst ray is the first fruit of the rising Sun,

the first fruit of the great tree of life. People of the future would heal onlywith the sunrays. They would know whatkind of rays to be used for specificsicknesses and ailments. You are a focus, which both the solarand the earthly energies pass through.From morning till noon the solarenergies pass through you, descendingfrom above and going towards the centreof the earth. In the afternoon there is anopposite movement – the earthly energypasses from the centre of the earth

through your feet and upwards to theSun. Therefore the results you wouldachieve from doing exercises in themorning and the evening would be quitedifferent. Some people get in a badmood in the afternoon because at thattime the earth currents are passingthrough them. You have to know how topolarise and concentrate these energies.Don’t stop them. When you stop them,you block yourselves thus leading tototal disaster. Transmit these energiesupwards. At midnight another currentwill come.

If one is sick and cannot breathe well,let him turn to the Sun and wish deep inhis soul to get connected with it - toreceive its energy. Not before long hewould restore himself and his strength. Welcome the light with love in orderthat you make use of it. Don’t look at theSun when it is too bright. Watch it in themorning when it rises.

For those who are able to see,everything in living nature is light.Everything on earth, all minerals, plants,animals, as well as the bodies of men,are nothing more than light, transformedinto its most varied manifestations. those who are able to see, light is notlifeless; it does not consist only ofvibrations, as is asserted today. Lightproceeds from life. When we say that people should leadpure, sacred and wise lives, we have inmind that they should tap the appropriateenergies of the Sun. The more inspiredthe person, the greater his capacity tomake contact with the Spiritual energiesof the Sun. The most luminous thought, the mostsublime feeling and the most beautifulaction have the first ray of the Sun within

themselves, the first ray whichpenetrates the human soul. If in the rising of the Sun, in theblossoming of the flowers, in theflowing of the river, in the relationsbetween people, we see the presence ofGod, then that is the correct look. The future houses would be made ofglass. The ultraviolet rays of the Sunwould pass through them and thesehouses would be hygienic for thatreason. With the help of curtains peoplewould regulate the light and would let inmore or less as they wish.

When the energies of the humanorganism are directed towards the centreof the earth, he gets sick. In order to gethealed, these energies should beredirected towards the centre of the Sun. If you can stand the Sun from morning tonoon you are a healthy person. If youcannot stand the Sun for long – you arenot healthy. Since the feet cannot receive the solarenergy directly from the Sun, theyreceive energy from the centre of the

earth. When man receives the earthlyenergy, he becomes brave, resolute andhis body refreshes. The plants and theanimals recognise this law and apply itproperly. If one gets in touch with the Sun of thephysical world, he at the same time getsin touch with two more Suns – the Sun ofthe Spiritual, and the Sun of the Divineworld. The living energy only comes in amorning. For every task there is a fixedappointed time. He who wishes tobecome a man of genius needs to go out

every morning and greet the Sun. Heneeds to allow these mighty forces towork on him. If you wish to comprehend light, walkwhere light walks. Does light enter onlyroyal palaces? It enters into clean andunclean places. Light does not stop atanything – it penetrates into the mosthidden places to enlighten and enliventhem. This is great humility. Man shouldlearn humility from light. Get up early! Go out! Greet the Sun!What wonderful things are hidden withthe rising Sun! If one goes out regularly

in the morning, he will receiveinspiration. In order to get healed, the sick oneshould purify his blood. He shouldundertake this work himself. How? Bybreathing pure air, exposing his back tothe Sun, and eating pure and healthyfood. In the morning there is always moreprana, or vital energy, that at noon. You cannot read unless you have light. Ifthe Sun within you does not shine, the

plants within you cannot bloom, and thefruit you expect cannot ripen. Nature has an inexhaustible store offorces at the disposal of all intelligentpersons. In the morning nature gives outmost abundantly. In the afternoon someother rays mingle with the Sun’s rays,and thus sometimes during the afternoonthey even act harmfully. In summer, warm water in the Sun andwash with Sun water.

The Sun’s energy has such powerfulvibrations that if it should come directlydown to earth, man would not be able tobear it. This is the reason why severaltransformers exist between the Sun andearth through which the Sun’s energypasses. This alone makes solar energybearable for man. If you want to make use of nature’s

forces to fortify your health, the bestmonths of the year to do this are April,May and June. These months bring a vastamount of wealth. If one makes use ofnature’s forces, he can build up himselfwithin one month. The energies of the Sun are positive andact favourably on people. The earthenergies are negative and actunfavourably on people. The formerenergies help humanity to rise, and thelatter to descend. Try to tune into theenergies that come from above. The first violinist in nature is the Sun.

The first ray of the Sun is the first aria. sending us light. Physical light is a signof God’s love. The Divine world has only onedirection, only one point, one sourcefrom which all things proceed. Thispoint is called ‘The Eternal East’, thepoint of the eternally rising Sun. Beautiful is the raiment of every livingbeing who rises early before sunrise andworks with love. If one does not riseearly and does not work, he will beordinary and poorly attired. All livingbeings are expected to do some work.The more conscious they are, the greater

is the effort that they must apply. If a manwishes to be young, he needs to risefrom sleep early when love whispers tohim to rise. Love says to him ‘Get upbefore the sunrise!’. We will make an experiment with thesunlight. Let it speak to you: music ishidden within. No harmony of tonesmore sublime exists that that whichemanates from the vibrations of the raysof the Sun. When you want to benefit from theenergies of nature, receive them directlyfrom the source and not indirectly. For

instance, when you want to use the solarenergy, go out and receive it directlyfrom its source and not through glassesand lenses. Love as the Sun loves. When it rises, itsends forth light to all living beings –ugly and beautiful, small and great. The heart of our solar system is the Sun.The rhythmical movements of blood inthe human heart are determined by therhythmical waves of the Sun. Therefore,when the heart of man functionsimproperly, this is a symptom that he hasviolated his relationship to the Sun – the

heart of the solar system where he lives. The Sun is the bearer of new ideas, newdiscoveries, new philosophies, a newreligion and a new science. The Sun isgoing to sweep aside everything old; itwill consume the old and turn it intodust. The Sun will bring to earth a pureand sublime life. For whom will this beso? For the souls that are ready. Thesoul that is ready is like a bud waitingfor the Sun to shine. When it does, thebud will open into blossom. In order to renovate yourselves, riseearly in the morning and receive the first

ray of the Sun. It is accompanied byradiant and sublime thoughts. A person wishing to develop properlyshould first of all absorb light correctly,then heat, then air, and finally solid foodfor the body. It is good to sunbathe early in themorning – until noon at the latest. If youdo this, your mind should beconcentrated and positive; you shouldaccept only the positive rays of the Sun.You should be careful not to fall asleepor you will lose everything you havegained.

Whoever is lazy to get up early to meetthe first rays of the Sun, however muchhe warms himself at the noon rays of theSun, he would obtain nothing. When the Sun is rising, let us welcomeit; let us perceive that which it sends us.Let us benefit from the thoughts andfeelings that come into us duringcontemplation of the sunrise. People expect the Sun to rise so that theycan enjoy its light and heat. According tome it does not matter if it is only theexternal Sun which has risen. If the outerSun has risen but the inner human Sun

has not done so, nothing is gained. It is asignificant moment when the rising of theouter Sun corresponds to the rising of theinner Sun. This is a real sunrise. Theouter Sun is valuable for all livingbeings, while the inner Sun is significantfor human beings. There is no greater joythan seeing both within and without.Great is the joy of the human being andof the whole of heaven when all peopleon earth understand and know theirCreator. Then the Kingdom of God hascome on earth. When a man raises his hands with palmstowards the Sun this may warm hiswhole body since the warmth moves all

around the body along the nerves. There are two currents, two kinds ofenergies. When the solar energy theleaves develop well, the branches grow– there is a growth upwards. When thecurrent of the earth is stronger, then theroots develop well.

In houses facing east the Sun is alwaysrising, and in those facing west – the sunis always setting. Which do you prefer:the Sun always rising or the Sun always

setting? In the middle of the human brain there isthe so called flying eye of the soul or theinner Sun of man. If this Sun is notshining in man, there can become nothingof him. It plays the role of a transformerin the human organism. When the energyfrom without penetrates the human brain,this junction or eye of the soul transfersthe energy throughout the wholeorganism. It possesses other featuresalso besides transforming the solarenergy. There is another transformerwithin the brain which transfers the solarenergy throughout the whole body. Onthe proper functioning of these energies

depends the state of health of theorganism as well as of feelings. Even in cloudy weather you should goout before the sunrise and concentrateyour thought in the direction of the risingSun. The clouds only obscure your sightof the Sun, but its life energies penetratethrough them. No external force is ableto counteract the solar energies. That iswhy I recommend all anaemic and weakpeople go out half an hour beforesunrise, to perceive the early solarenergies. The dawn gives a man suchenergies which no other power is able togive him.

If someone is indisposed, let him take asunbath; if he has lost his energy, let himstay longer under its shine; if he cannotdecide how to work, let him go outunder the sunrays to warm up. The modern culture should freethemselves from using coal. There mustbe found learned people in the future toharness the solar energy. We have tosupply this energy from the Sun. Whenwe come to the possibility to use thesolar energy we would be culturalpeople according to the expectations ofhumanity. If between the energies of the Sun and

the energies of your organism a properexchange takes place, you would alwaysbe healthy. The greater is the quantity of gold in theblood, the healthier is man. Sicknessesare due to insufficient quantity of gold inthe blood. In order to increase this gold,man should lead a pure, noble life. Goldis the symbol of the Sun, of vitality, ofhealth and purity. From midnight to midday there is aninflux of solar energy, while frommidday to midnight there is a reflux. Theinflux reaches its highest point atsunrise. This influx is the strongest and

most invigorating. It slowly decreasesuntil noon. Then the reflux begins, whichis at its strongest at sunset. In spring and summer there is an influxof solar energy to the earth, and inautumn and winter a reflux. That is whythe most favourable influence of the Sunbegins on 22nd March and laststhroughout April, May and ends on 22ndJune. The good influence of the Sun upon manimproves the state of the blood. The Sunuplifts the human thoughts and feelingsand the blood of man becomes purified

that way. Those who take up the study of the GreatDivine science, should have their roofsand windows open so that the Sun willshine on them from all sides, and theearth will be their foundation. The modern man pays little attention tothe solar energy. You should meet theSun bareheaded in order to perceive thesolar energy. If your children are weak,you should expose them to the Sun. Manysicknesses, many vices appear becauseof lack of light. Receive more energy from the Sun if you

want to be happy. Rejoice the rising Sunif you want to prolong your life. There is energy on the Sun, but it is notfire. It is something more powerful,which cannot be expressed in words.The Sun is not a hot body, but a body ofimmense energy. The sunbaths in the mountain are to bepreferred because the astral cloud ofthoughts that envelops the city does notdisturb the rhythm of the sunrays. Someone comes and wants to teach mewhat love is. There are many

interpreters of love. I do not want tointerpret love for you. I say, “When loveis talking to you, listen to it”. There isnothing better than this. What is the pointof talking about the Sun? What is theSun, what is the light? When the Sun istalking to you, listen to it, instead oflistening to whoever philosopher tellingyou about the Sun and the light. What theSun has given you, what you have seen,what you have felt, this is the knowledgethat the Sun gives you. Some ask, “Where is God? How can wefind Him?” Even small children are ableto find God. Philosophers have beentrying to prove where God is for 2,000

years – whether He is in the skies,among the stars, on Earth, or in thehuman heart. They are still searching forHim, but nobody has found Him yet.Preachers claim that He is in the humanheart; astronomers believe He is in theuniverse. Some say that He exists, othersthat He does not. I shall present to you afigure to illustrate the groundsphilosophers find. Imagine that God, justlike the Sun, rises in the east and sets inthe west each 24 hours. Imagine also thatwhen God rises, you fall asleep and youare asleep until He sets, and that whenHe sets, you wake up and keep lookingfor Him throughout the night. As youcannot find Him, you fall asleep again atdawn, and when He sets, you continue

looking for him during the night. Youhave been looking for Him for a day ortwo, for a month or two, for years, but invain. My advice is to change things –sleep at night, wake up in the morning atsunrise and you will see God, you willfind Him. I can see Him every day. Isleep during the night and at the crack ofdawn I get up to meet Him. This is thephilosophy of life. God rises like a Sun.What is it that modern people do? Theygo to concerts, parties and to the theatre,and when God rises, they are asleep. When you raise your eyes towards theSun, your heart and your whole beingwill leap. Some people say that the Sun

is a fiery celestial body. Every morning Iwitness how the Lord takes the Sun as agreat lighted candle and makes Hisrounds all over. He comes from the East!This is how I see the Sun. Behind thisSun there is something still greater andmore glorious. Similarly, behind ourlives something great is hidden. Behindthis ordinary manifestation of life thereis something else, which every one ofyou is conscious of. This is the Divine inthe human being. When love comes to us, we becomestrong, cheerful and happy. When welove somebody or something, we looklike a sunny day with a bright sky, when

the Sun shines and the weather is warmand serene. Whoever is sensitive can turn theirbacks to the east and feel when the firstSun rays appear. Exactly at that moment,they will feel a slight, pleasant warmthin the solar plexus. The spine is capableof perceiving the warmth of the first Sunrays since it is connected to thesympathetic nerve system.

Now, I turn my attention to the weather

outside, so that you can see what isbeing said about you. It is a verybeautiful day, the Sun is shining brightly,the sky is clear and it is an overall verygood forecast. You are the only oneswho can spoil this day; no other powercan do it. This day is for all of you and itis the same for anyone. If you perceivethe idea that you are Souls, who havecome from God, and you wish to serveHim, this is what your lives will be like.This Sun will shine within your mindand Soul and you will see God. TheGreat Divine Spirit will dwell in youand you will become strong and fearlessto accomplish everything that you desire.

The significance of the Sun is in the lightit sends to us. If you enter an art gallery wherehundreds of pictures are displayedwhich present the rising Sun, what willyou do? You will look at these picturesbut you will compare them with the Sunof life which rises every day. Accordingto me, people are pictures whichrepresent the rising Sun. They give anidea of the live Sun but don’t carry lifein man. That is why, when the Sun rises,I will leave everything and I will go tomeet it, to see its first ray. The picturesof the rising Sun are not bad but there isno life in them. A rising Sun is a great

thing! As you know it, don’t occupyyourself with people, but at the sametime, people should not becomeoccupied with you. Occupy yourselfwith the live Sun which can give youwhat you need at every moment. The Sun is rising, it sends forth light thatbrings joy to life. Contemporary society has always beensuffering from the desire for too muchmoney. And recently the Bulgarian statehas issued so many banknotes, but whereis the active circulation? There shouldbe effective money. The products ofnature, however, are always effective. If

there are wheat, fruits, and potatoes –there is culture. Without them there is noculture. Culture is determined by CosmicLove, sent to us from above. Do notthink that the Sun and the other planetsdo not take part in our lives. The Sun ismost of all interested in us and everyyear it sends a credit of a thousandmillions to Bulgaria. If you go to theSun, you will see that its inhabitantshave Energy of many thousand millionsfor the culture of Bulgaria, for Love, forreligious beliefs and for spiritualelevation in the way of Truth. Observingthe Sun with a telescope today, we say:"The Sun is fire". I do not agree, becausefire is a weak energy. There is energy onthe Sun, but it is not fire. It is something

more powerful, which could not beexpressed in words. The Sun is not a hotbody, but a body of immense energy. Iam not to discuss the inner aspect of thatenergy, to explain how it was developedand so on. And would you believe me ifI tell you something about the Sun, whichis so far away from us? You do notbelieve in my sincerity, you wonderwhether I have any ulterior motives, sohow will you believe in these thingsabout the Sun? It is obvious that the Sunis well disposed to us from the energy itsends to the Earth, from the gifts which itprepares every day for us, because Lifeis impossible without this energy. Thesolar energy is alive, conscious. If we

start thinking about the Sun in that way,we shall be able to receive its energyand it will produce a conscious andproper process of growth in us. What is the most important thing behindthe Sun? The sunlight and warmth whichcreates light thoughts and lofty feelingsin a man. Behind the sunlight and warmthis one great, powerful hand which thepeople don’t see. You will have to study light and itsinfluence upon your organism; you willstudy the influence of colours, of theliving centres. Take the light of the Sun.Every day at certain hours of the day, at

noon and even more in the morning,there come certain waves from the sunwhich bring with them positive thoughts,intelligent thoughts. There are alsonegative movements from the Sun thatbring negative thoughts. If during the dayyou fall asleep in the Sun inevitably yourbody will attract these negative waves,the so-called black light, and when yourise you will feel indisposed. Therefore,a student of the esoteric should neversleep during the day. No sleeping duringthe day. You will sleep during the nightwhen there is no Sun. You may warm upin the Sun, but your mind must be alert,must be present so that it may attract thepositive waves of the Sun energy.

No matter in what phase of life one maybe, young, adult, old, rich, poor,educated, or ignorant, he must beawakened. Who must awaken him? Godmust. Why? Because God is the Sun oflife. When this Sun awakens man, it willopen his eyes, so that he may see andunderstand the world correctly, andwork in it. If you warm yourselves on heatproduced by wood, or on heat producedby coal, the effect on you in the twocases will be different. If you aresensitive, when you burn coal you willpass through all the stages it has passed;

when you burn wood, you willexperience the stages the oaks havepassed through and feel them like livingbeings. The black colour of the coal willproduce quite a different effect on youfrom that which burning wood will.Contemporary culture must rid itself ofthe use of coal. That is why the futurescientists must harness solar energy. Wemust provide for ourselves heat from theSun. When we reach the stage ofutilizing solar heat and energy, we shallbe the cultured people humanity isexpecting. At the present stage wecannot be called cultured people. When you go on an excursion choose to

drink waters exposed to the south,because the springs such situated are fullof creative energy and health. Man has come to Earth to rejoice. Aboutwhat? He must not rejoice at his clothes,neither at the position he occupies, butrather rejoice that he has come into theworld of God to expect the rising of theSun. All his attention must beconcentrated upon the rising Sun. Therising of the Sun does not depend uponthe clothes of man, neither upon hiswealth and conceptions of life, nor uponhis power and beauty. The rising of theSun is a power to comfort the humanSoul. The rising of the Sun gives an

impetus to the human spirit. The reason why men can have noachievement is due to the fact that theylook toward the west. They admire thesunset and sleep when the Sun rises. Thewest represents the material life, forwhich all people are awakened. It isgood for a man to admire the sunset, buthe must also look at the sunrise. Godexpects all people to be just, truthful,good and loving. Everything which surrounds man must bea stimulus in his life. If you meet a man,a tree, a stone, a lake, stars, the Sun -everything must stimulate your life. The

Divine Spirit Who works and awakensthe consciousness of all living things ishidden in all things. In nature both beauty and ugliness havetheir places in the same way as light anddarkness are necessary. Light reignswhen the Sun is shining. After the Sunhas set, the darkness comes. But withoutthe darkness stars cannot shine. So, thedarkness is necessary in the human life,so that virtues or stars may be revealed. In order to understand the life on theSun, people should first find their ownsun in themselves. All have small sunswithin, situated in the centre of their

brains. The size of these inner suns isdifferent for each person, depending onthe size of the other planets in thisperson. Through the inner sun, the Soulattains knowledge. There is something incommon between the astronomic Sunand the planets in the sky and the innersun and planets in humans: in theirrising, setting and so on. If the inner sunof a person ceases to rise, the physicalSun also loses its sense for this person.It means that there is a dependencebetween one's outer and inner sun. If thisdependence ceases, one will not possessany inner light. When the inner and theouter sun shine together, one hasconditions to see. If the inner sun goesout, a person becomes blind. This

person is deprived of the conditions tosee, to accept Divine knowledge.Therefore the Divine knowledge, whichmany strive for, has the aim of teachingyou to appreciate the inner sun in you,through which your Soul learns anddevelops. If someone says that his Soulis in the darkness, it shows that his innersun has ceased to shine. As long as theinner sun shines in humans, they thinkand feel right. If the inner sun ceases toshine, both the mind and the heartbecome dim together with it. That is whyone should live properly in order toavoid darkening of the inner sun. Theimpure life, revealed in ill thoughts,feelings and deeds, causes bigdifficulties, which darken the sky in

which the inner sun of a person shines. Every man must walk on his own pathand not interfere with anyone receivinglight directly from the Sun. Let the lightenter freely into the eyes of all people. Enjoy more the small, which grows andincreases, than the large, whichdiminishes and wastes away. When theSun rises, light is enthroned. When theSun sets, darkness is established. When you pray, if you feel inner joy, itmeans, that you have turned to God. It is

the same as flowers that turn to the Sun.It is enough just to think of God and Hewill radiate a ray to you, which willpenetrate into your Soul. The rays ofGod are essential for the development ofhuman Souls in the same way as thesolar rays are essential for thedevelopment of flowers. Energy in nature comes primarily fromtwo sources: from the centre of the Sunand from the centre of the Earth. Thepredominant energy in nature is the onecoming from the Sun – it is positiveenergy. When the Sun energy is mostlytaken in through the head, the humanbrain becomes very active. If this energy

is absorbed primarily through thestomach, then the stomach becomes veryactive; in this case, the brain becomesdemagnetized, weakens, and a headacheappears. For this reason the excessenergy from the stomach needs to beredirected to the brain in some way.Sometimes solar energy can becomeconcentrated in the elbow, the entirearm, the face etc. In order to distributethis energy uniformly through all parts ofthe body, one needs physical exercises.If you have difficulty falling asleep, thereason lies in the excess energy in thebrain. In order to release yourself fromit, you have to do such exercises thathelp redirect it to the other parts of thebody.

Just as the Sun makes us disposed everyday after its rise, in the same way thehappy moments in life are due to theinner sun that is shining within us. Risesand settings exist in the spiritual life aswell. The Sun lifts high in your matureage – you are at your noon. And you willset in your old age in order to rise again. The rays of the Sun are a bearer of greatgood. And each ray that comes out ofGod brings great blessing to the people.It is alive. I am not saying that the light isonly a vibration, motion of the air – thisis the outer part of the matter. The lightis a force that is alive and reasonable,

that penetrates into the human being andrevives them. Modern people live in great chaos – theydo not know how to plan their work andas a result spend a lot of energy toaccomplish poor results. If you want towork efficiently, the moment you wakeup and you are still lying in your bed,thank God for everything He has given toyou. You will ask, "Where is God?"God is in the Sun, in the sky, in theEarth, in the water, in the air, in thewind, in the rocks, in the plants, in theanimals, in men – God is everywhere.There is nothing in this world in whichGod is not – everything inside us and

outside us; everything that surrounds usrepresents a background of the picture ofwhich God is the great painter. He who cannot accept truth looks onlyon the surface and makes conclusionswhich his mind can accept. The samething happens with him who does notunderstand the Sacred Book of Life. Heis content to seek the superficial truth —he is not ready to seek its real content.As the Book is a living and sensiblebook for one who understands it, so isthe Sun a living and sensible book,which only a few can read andunderstand. Every morning the Sun risesand a voice from the invisible worldasks if you have read your page for

today. The Sun is a book in the pages ofwhich God every day writes somethingnew. You may say that the Sun issomething that has no intelligence. TheSun exists — it has abundant light whichcauses the fruits to ripen, the flowers tobloom, the snow and ice to melt — howcan it be said that it has no intelligence?The light that the Sun sends to all theplants indicates that there are livingbeings in the Sun with a high level ofintelligence and the ability to reason.Whatever the speculations about the Sunmay be, it is important for man to knowhow to make use of the Sun's light andwarmth and to achieve something fromit. One day his eyes will open and hehimself will be able to investigate.

Therefore I say that man has a greatfuture ahead of him.
