Charlie Hebdo attack( 7 January 2015)•this attack is allowed to feed discrimination and prejudice, whose clear aim is to divide religions and societies.

•After this attack government give travel advice to travelers to take extra care and follow the security advice issued by the French authorities.

September 11 attacks•Increased Costs of Commerce and Reduced Travel.•5% Increase in premiums on property in U.S .Higher increases overseas.•(Macroeconomic effect)Up to $300 billion in lower world growth in 2001 and 2002.

• Employment in the tourism industry fell by 5 percent between the years 2000 and 2005.

Rome and veinna airport attack(27 december 1985)

•Such incidents paralysed or severely impacted the local tourism industry as result of trip cancellation and the inclination of passengers of booking to safer alternative destinations.

• Bali Bombings 2002– Bali’s main source of income is tourism (resorts, restaurants, leisure, shopping, etc)

– Incomes fell by 50% following the bomb attacks and the effects were devastating on the people•Many businesses had to close down

– The Indonesian government faced pressure to relieve the hardships of the people• If hardships are not relieved, there is a likelihood of social unrest as

people would resort to protesting against the government or turning to crime and looting in order to survive

 26/11 attacks(Taj Hotel attack)-These attacks have also put a dent in the India Tourism Ministry’s ambitious projection of having 5 million tourists in India in the year 2008. -The week after the26/11attack in Mumbai saw thousand of hotel booking cancelled all over the India.
