Task 7

I would prefer to go to Malaga because it has prettystreets, leafy boulevards and lush gardens. There is aCathedral in the city called ‘La Manquita’ – the onearmed lady. It is the birth place of Picasso and there isa museum. This is a very good destination, with panoramicviews of the city . ‘The Theatro Romano’ is the result ofexcavation work and reconstruction work of an ancientstructure. The amphitheatre itself has not been usedsince 3rd century and the moors used some of the stones tobuild their fortification, ‘the Alcazaba’. It offers amuseum pleasant gardens and fantastic views. Looking atthe rampats of Castillo de Gibralfaro would be moreinteresting and there are more breath taking views aswell. This is a city rich in history and culture. Themuseo Picaso offers an opportunity to learn the GreatArtists life, punctuated by his notes and sketches, rightthrough to his great paintings and ceramics. We can alsotravel south to Malaga beach which was artificially made

in the late 1800s using sand from Sahara Desert. There isalso a La Concepcion - Jardin Botanico-Historico, adelightful 19th century garden full of exotic flowers andancient Roman statues. We can also see the CementerioIngles, the first protestant cemetery in Spain where youwill find the chapel of San Jorge and a set of burialmonuments and tombs. Malaga has a varied nightlife. Youcan choose to dine in a restaurant and appreciate scenicviews or party the night away there is plenty on offer. There are also Spanish bars, R&B nights, jazz and reggaebars and house and techno clubs available in the city. These all are very cheap for the cost of 472.51 and theflight timings suits me very well. Therefore I would liketo go to Malaga.
