• Performs clerical duties including typing, filing, maintaining filing system, updating information packets, and completion of

office forms.

• Maintains cleanness of office by providing light housekeeping duties.

• Participates in staff development trainings to stay up to date and knowledgeable related to agency grants and programs.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge regarding MS Office suite and applications, Salesforce

data entry, scanning and attaching documents, basic knowledge related to internet based multiline phone systems, and other office

equipment. Must be able to multitask, and have superior organizational skills.

The General Laborer/Equipment Operator is responsible for general physical labor within the scrap yard. Duties may include utilization

of hand and power tools, yard clean up and maintenance, and assisting other personnel through the yard. The General

Laborer/Equipment Operator should possess knowledge of machines and tools including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

Operational Performance & Best Business Practices

· Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities.

· Work with equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials.

· Load, unload, or identify materials, machinery, or tools, and distribute to the appropriate locations, according to specifications.

· Provide backup or assistance throughout the yard as needed or assigned.

Equipment & Maintenance

· Report all equipment deficiencies or malfunctions requiring maintenance or repair to the proper supervisor.

Working Environment

· This position is regularly exposed to all weather conditions.

· Physical hazards such as noise, fumes, and dirt are present due to the equipment, machinery, and scrap as would be found throughout

the scrap yard.

· Safety shoes, hearing protection, respirators, face shields, and additional personal protective equipment as needed, must be worn to

eliminate the risks associated with these hazards.

The Children’sLegacy Center (CLC) is seeking a Family Mentor to join our team. The role of the Family Mentor is focused on caregivers of

youth who are at risk of or have been abused through Commercial Sexual Exploitation as well as caregivers of youth currently in the

child welfare system. The Family Mentor will provide support, encouragement, and hope to families receiving wraparound services by

guiding families with reassurance and understanding of the complexities of the circumstances and process. This role will work closely

with our resource families, Wraparound services team, and our Behavioral Health clinicians.

This position reports to the Director of Residential Care.

Requirements -

• Bachelor’s Degree and six months of experience in working with children who have serious emotional or behavioral needs, or

children who have special needs, including, but not limited to, special medical needs;

OR

• An Associate degree and one year of experience in working with children who have serious emotional or behavioral needs, or

children who have special needs, including, but not limited to, intensive medical needs; OR

• High School diploma or GED and at least 6 months of relevant experience

• Lived experience of parenting a child who has received services from child welfare, juvenile probation, or other similar services

• Able to collaborate in team settings

• Ability to connect with families from diverse backgrounds and cultures

Preferred Qualifications -

• Bilingual

• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of systems of care for diverse youth and families including, child welfare and/or

juvenile justice

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong interpersonal skills

Roles and Responsibilities -

• Provide services and supports to IntensiveServices Foster Care resource families and youth.

• Participate in the development of a supportive plan for youth and caregivers

• Offer support and reassurance to caregivers with empathy and understanding

• Actively engage caregivers and handle all information with confidentiality

• Advocate for caregivers and assist in addressing the needs of caregivers during the wraparound process

• Share parts of their own story with caregivers as appropriate

• Provide services as outlined in the wraparound support plan

The Children’s Legacy Center began in 2016. Our passion is to aid children and youth who have been abused and exploited. We

currently achieve this goal by offering forensic interviewing services as a part of our Children’s Advocacy Center. These interviews

reduce trauma and help our partner agencies expedite justice for children, youth, and their families. We are now able to build upon this

tested and stable foundation and are building out our regional pilot model for exploited children and youth. This model is a diverse,

holistic, and far-reaching collection of programs and services that will multiply our impact in the community and beyond. Although each

of our team obtains a specific job description, we work collaboratively to develop and expand our organization. We value the health and
