The universe that we live in is continuously shrinking and real credit goes to the fast growing Electronics
and Telecommunication revolution. The Electronics Engineering Department was established in 1983 and
was later converted to Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering in 2003. The department
conducts Undergraduate program and Postgraduate program with specialization in Digital Systems.
Moreover, the department has been declared as an approved research centre by the S. P. Pune University.
Pune since 2012, the very first of this kind in the district of Ahmednagar. Keeping in line with fast changing
technological developments, the department has, well equipped laboratories like Microwave & FOC, Test &
Measurements, VLSI & DSP Computer Networks Embedded Systems, Printed Circuit Board, Electronic
Design & Project, Research Laboratory etc. These labs holistically conform not just to the University
curriculum, but also to industrial requirements. In addition to that many value addition courses are also
conducted for the students to give them cutting edge knowledge in the fast paced world of Electronics and
Telecommunication Engineering. The results are clearly visible; many students have qualified in
competitive exams like GATE, GRE, TOEFL etc. For two successive years, final year students have won Gold
Medals at the University level and many more students of this department have been finding their places
in the merit list of Pune University.

If there is any revolution that has impacted the world in the last two decades, in the maximum
possible manner it is clearly IT. IT department has been established in the year 2001. The
department is accredited by National Board of Accreditation and got permanent affiliation from
S. P. Pune University . We realize the significance of this specialization and have ensured a well-
rounded infrastructure along with qualified, experienced and confident faculty. As the world
remains a highly evolving place, we believe that it is not just about preparing students with
modern knowledge, but it is also about equipping them with know-how that will help them take on
the changing globe. A high-end infrastructure that encompasses all the latest hardware and
software, make our laboratories completely in tune with the university norms as well as today's
fast-changing environment. Student's ability to succeed, attitude, self-reliance etc. are our focus
areas. The students and the teachers strive hard to reach the peak of excellence in IT education.
To give our students leading edge competence we have various supplementary training
programmes, and seminars. These are updated from time to time whenever we deem it
necessary.
