and regulations administrated by the elders.

Sufism is a mystic tradition of Islam and includes a range of practices and beliefs

period practised love and compassion towards all other beings. They rejected the

elaborate rituals and codes of behaviour (based on shariat) demanded by the

Muslim scholars.
