(B) Report

i) Title:Celebration of the Birth Anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj

ii) Introduction:The Department of CEP celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji

Maharaj on 19th February 2021, at Hall No. 219. The students need to know the history andthe great deeds of world-renowned legendary KingChhatrapati Shivaji.

iii) Objectives ofthe Programme:).- To inspire the young generation to be brave and secular.>- To motivate students with the great deeds of world-renowned legendary King

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.).- To encourage the students to follow his path.>- To acquaint the students with the history of the Maratha Empire.

iv) Details of participants :A total of92 students (Male 52 and Female 40) and 6 teachers attended theprogramme.

v) Brief Summary of Events/ Sessions:The Department of CEP celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji

Maharaj dated 19th February 2021, at Hall No. 219. The programme was presided byPrincipal Dr Mahadev Gavhane. The keynote speaker was Shiv Shahir Prof. Vaibhav Mane(R.S.M.,Latur). He presented inspirational songs and Shiv Geet based on Shivcharitra. Theprogramme commenced with Sphurti Geet and Shiv Geet.

vi) Conclusion & Feedback on the Programme:Students got inspired through his noble deeds and contribution to the establishment

of Hindavi Swarajya. The programme encouraged the students to follow his path. Studentsalso got acquainted with the history of the Maratha empire.
