II has been decided by Directorate of Education that Head of School may deploy Guestteachcrrs) for all classes from 1" to 12.J:standard during 2006-07 also on the following conditions.

1. Eligibility: - Guest teachers shall be deployed amongst qualified retired teachers fromGo vcrnmcm, Government Aided and Pri vatc schools and their appointment should be as per n01111S

prescribed in the Recruitment Rules.2. Period'-Guest Teachers shall be cngagd from ," July, 06 to 28u, Fcb., 07 against [J clear

vacancy (vacant sanctioned post) or for the period of vacancy, whichever is less.3. Rates:- POT shall be paid @ Rs. '00/- per lecture for Sr. Secondary Classes and TGT @

Rs.SOJ- per lecture for Secondary and Middle classes. Assistant Teachers shall be paid @ Rs.200/-per day for his presence throughout the day. The payment to guest teacher shall not exceed Rs 125001-.Rs.IO.OOOI- and Rs )0001- per month for POT, TGT and Assistant Teachers respectively.

4. General Conditions.:-(8) Guest teachers shall not be given more than 05 lectures a day.(b) GUC$I teachers shall no! be engaged during vacation, holidays and examination days.(c) Guest teachers shall no, replace contract teachers.(d) Other terms and conditions for engagement of guest teachers shall remain the same as wereapplicable last year.

1. E1iiibility: - Guest teachers shall be deployed amongst retired teachers from Government.Government Aided & Private schools of Delhi who fulfill qualifications prescribed in the RecruitmentRules,

POT and TOTOuest teachers may be deployed fOI iuvigilatiou duty also during annual examination in Marcil, 2009when posts of subject teachers arc vacant but they shall not be allowed to evaluate answer sheets.Assistant teachers shall not be deployed for invigilarion duty.

3. Rates:- POT shall be paid @ Rs. IOOf- per lecture for Sr. Secondary Classes and TGT @ Rs.80/- perlecture for Secondary and Middle classes Assistant Teacbcrs shall be paid @ Rs.2001- per day for hispresence throughout the day. The payment 10 Guest teacher shall not exceed Rs 12.5001-, Rs.10.OOO/- andRs500()/- per month for PGT. TGT and Assistant Teachers respectively Honorarium 10 guest teachersdeployed for invigilation duty shall be paid @ Rs :100/- and Rs.250/- tor 03 hours and 2 ,/, hom'S dutyrespectively.

In partial modification to this office circular of even number dated 02-06··2009, it has been decided that. Guest Teachers can be engaged amongst qualifiedyouth also, who fulfills qualifications prescribed in Recruitment Rules forappointment of teachers for the period from 14-12-2009 to 28-02-2010 at the samerates which are applicable to Re tired Teachers. In case more than one qualifiedyouth applies for engagement of Guest Teachers against a vacancy, the teachershould be engaged on merit basis.

It is clarified that. Gu esr Teachers engaged out of qualified youth will notclaim for regular. employ-men l. and such teachers will be engaged only against clearvacancy.

All other terms and conditions for engagement for Guest Teachers shallremai n same.

.:- The Guest Teachers shall be paid Rs. 100/-'a~d.Rs'.,80J~ per: perio:din case ·PGT and TST, respectiveiy sUibjed to '~' maxi:inurtl of Rs.12,500/- and Rs. 10,000/- per month. Asstt. Teac;l1er, shan be paidRS.200/- per day subject to maximum of Rs.5000/~ per month .

. •:. Candidates with Post Graduate degree in the subject concerned with8.Ed can apply for PGT. Candidates with GraduatiQn in specificsubj:ects with B.Ed can apply for TGT. Candid(ites who havepassedSr. Secondary examination with Diploma in 61~meritary' TeacherEducation or equivalent can apply for Assistant Teacher.

~:. Upper age limit is 27 years in case of Assistant Teacher; '32 years(42 years in case of female) in case of TGT and 36 years in case ofPGT as on 1st July. 2010 .

CIRCULAR

Sub: Engagement of Guest Teachers during 2011·12.

Powers have been delegated to Head of Schools to engage guestteachers from qualified youth subject to following conditions:-

1. Subject-wise vacancies in each school shall be displayed on web-site.2. Person willing to be engaged shall register him/herself in specific

school online and3. The persons would be selected through system on the basis of

academic performance.

Accordingly, subject-wise vacancies have been placed on Net. A publicnotice has been issued on web-site of Education inviting persons willing to beengaged as guest teachers to register themselves in specific school onlinelatest by 5th August, 2011. List of persons, who have registered forengagement as guest teacher, would be displayed in order of merit in eachsubject in every school on 8th August, 2011.

Head of School shall call u on the erson s who have securedhighest mar s an ven certificates etc. In case, there is any discrepancy int e etai s given in registration form as compared to certificates, Head ofSchool shall call next person in merit after giving maximum 10 days to join the

". candidate who stood first in the merit. In case post is filled by a regularemployee on or before the date of reporting of guest teacher, he may beadvised to contact DOE (District) concerned.

It shall be made absolutely clear in letter of engagement thatengagement is purely temporary and the person(s) engaged shall be removedas soon as regular person joins or latest by 29th February, 2012.

Retired teacher may be engaged by the H~&i of School in difficultsubjects like Mathematics, Science etc., in case no one applies against anypost.

Rate of payment, working hours, maintenance of records, generalconditions and issue of sanction shall apply in terms of circulars issued byDirectorate of Education vide No. F.No.DE.18-19(2)/2006/Plg.l481-503 dated08-06-2010 and F.No.DE.18-19(2)/2006/Plg/1717-34 dated 08/10/2010.

This issues with the approval of Finance Department vide their U.O.No. 60/0S1 (Fin-Exp) dated 30105/2011.

Sub: Engagement of Guest Teachers in Schools of Directorate of Education.

Guest Teachers are proposed to be engaged by the Heads of Schools of the

Directorate of Education from amongst the qualified youth. Subject-wise vacancies in

each school are available on the website. The number of vacancies are subject to

variation. The Guest Teacher shall be engaged purely on temporary basis, till the

post is filled up on regular basis or till ro" May, 2014, whichever is earlier. Willing

candidates may register themselves with anyone specific school of choice online on

our website www.edudel.nic.in from 26th June, 2013 to os" July, 2013, The details

of eligibility are as under:-

1. PGT/Lecturer: Candidates with Post Graduate degree in the subject

concerned, with B.Ed. can apply for PGT. However, in case of PGT (Home

Science/Domestic Science and Physical Education) the qualification is as

under:-

1.1 PGT/Lecturer (Home Science/Oomestic Science) : M.Sc (Home

Soience) OR B.Se (HorneScience) with Degree/Diploma in Education.

1.2 PGT/Lecturer (Physical Education): Post Graduate degree in Physical

Education.

2. PGT/Lecturer (EVGCs): M.A in Psychology from a recognized University.

Degree or Diploma in Guidance and Counseling.

,3. TG1f(English/Matnsi$oclaI Science/Natural ScienceslHome Science):

Bachelor Degree in the concerned subjects with B.Ed and working knowledge

of Hindi can apply for TGT. Candidates with Graduation in two school subjects

of which at least ORe out of the four namely (i) English (ii) Mathematics (iii)

Natural Science/Physical Science and (iv) Social Science should have been at

the elective level.

Chemistry, Biology, Botony and Zooloqy.

3.2 TGT (Social Science): Main subjects are History/Political

3.3 TGT (Home Science) Graduatewith Diploma in Home Science from a

recognized University OR B.Sc (home Science) with Degree/Diploma in

education.

4. TGT (MIL-Hindi/SanskritJPunjabi/Urdu): B.A. (Hon.) in one of the Modern

Languages (MIL) concerned OR B.A with MIL concerned as one of the

elective subjects with one additional language at degree level OR Equivalent

Oriental degree in MIL concerned OR Sahitya Rattan of Hindi Sahitya

Sammelan Prayag (For Hindi Teachers only) with Eng!ish in Matriculation

B.ED/Sr. Anglo Vernacular Certificate. Knowledge of Hindi essential

5, Physical Education Teacher (PET): Graduate with Bachelor's of Physical

Education (B.P.Ed.) orits equivalent.

6. Special Education Teacher: (TGT) (for Physically Handicapped, Speech

Impaired, Mentally Retarded and Partially Sighted): Graduate with B.Ed

(Special Education) or B.ED with two, years diploma in special education or

10.Asstt. Teacher (Primary) : Candidates who have passed Sr. Secondary

examination with two year Diploma in Elementary Teacher Education or

equivalent can apply for Assistant Teacher. Must have passed Hindi as a

subject at Secondary level.

11. Assistant Teacher (Nursery): Sf. Secondary with Diploma/Certificate in

Nursery Teacher Education of not less than 2 years or equivalent. Must have

passed Hindi at Secondary level.

12. Age Limits: - As on 1'st July, 2013

in the same school and subject. However, based on the assessment of HOS if

the. performance of Guest Teacher iricludJng the exarnjqation results in the

respective subject is not up to the mark, no preference will be available.

Engagement of Guest EVGCsis subject to following Terms & Conditions.

1. Guest EVGCs shall be engaged purely as a stop gap arrangement on daily.

basis till the posts are filled up on regular basis. Guest Teachers shall not be

entitled to regular appointment.

2. The n!-!mber of vacancies is tentative and is subject to change. Department

reserves~r the number of vacancies at any time. Directorate of

Education will maintain a wait list I panel of candidates to meet any requirement in

the Current Academic Year.

3. Reservationsand age relaxations to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBCI and PH will

be given as per Govt. orders. Candidates claiming reservation under OBC

CategorY shall produce OSC Certificate issued by authority of Govt of NCT

Delhi. For SC/ST candidates certificate issued by any state/UT will be.. . - - --

considered. The candldates belonging to PhysicallyHandicapped category (Ortho +VH only) must posses"Disability Certificate" issued from a Government Hospital.

4. Willing candidates may register themselves online on our website

www.edudel.nic in from 06.02.2016 (11.00 AM) to 15.02.2016 (UPTO 6

PM). Submission of applications other than online shall not be entertained and

any deviation in this regard shall lead to summary rejection. Applicants are

strictly instructed not to send any hard copy of the application to this

department.

5. Order of merit list will be prepared on the basis of academicmerit separatelyfor each

category of applicants namely SC/STjOBC(Delhl)/andDisabled persons.

6. Allocation of school to the selected candidate will be merit based and

preferably through a computerized programme without any human

intervention. Request for change of school shall not be entertained at all at

any time during the engagement. If the person does not join within given

time, the offer of appointment will be cancelled.

7. The Guest EVGCswill be dis-engaged from the school as soon as a regular EVGC

joins the school and the Guest EVGCsworking in that particular school will be

disengaged irrespective of his/ her standing in the order of merit list initially drawn

for the purpose of engagement.

8. Guest EVGCs Teachers already engaged in Delhi Government School need

not apply.

10. The order of merit list will be displayed on website on 18.02.2016 (6 p.rn) and theschedule for verification of documents relating to age, qualifications, caste certificate

etc. at the respective district offices will be notified in due course of time on the web

portal of this directorate.

11. The engagement of Guest EVGCsfor the current academic session i.e. 2015-16 will be

up to 10/05/2016 or the commencement of the summer vacation whichever is

earlier.

OTHER IMPORTANT CONDITIONS~-'

1." Percentage of marks must be entered up to two places of decimal.2. The Guest EVGCs shall be paid @ RS.9001· per day subject to maximum of

RS.225001- per month as approved by Finance Department vide U.O. No. 36/DS3dated 08.06.2015

3. The candidate shall fill-up his I her name, Date of Birth, roll number. year of passingetc. as they appear in the pass certificate of class XII Examination. Any deviation inthis regard will lead to disqualification. Candidates in their own interest are advisedto fill up all the items in the online application form carefully and before submitting theform online he/she shall check the particulars on the "Review" Screen Requests forcorrection what so ever shall not be entertained at later stages.

Essential QualificaUon(I) Master degree in Psychology from a recognized University or institution with

Engagement of Guest EVGCsis subject to following Terms & Conditions.

1. Guest EVGCs shall be engaged purely as a stop gap arrangement on daily

basis till the posts are filled up on regular basis. Guest Teachers shall not be

entitled to regular appointment.

2. The number of vacancies is tentative and is subject to change. Department

reserves the right to alter the number of vacancies at any time. Directorate of

Education will maintain a walt list j panel of candidates to meet any requirement in

the Current AcademicYear.

3. Reservationsand age relaxations to candidates belonging to SCjSfjOBCj and PH will

be given as per Govt. orders. Candidates claiming reservation under OBe

Category shall produce oae certificate Issyed by authority of Govt of NCT

pelhi. For SCIST candidates certificate issued by any statelUT will be

considered. The candidates belonging to PhysicallyHandicapped category (Ortho +VH only) must posses"Disability Certificate" Issuedfrom a Government Hospital.

4. Willing candidates may register themselves online on our website

www.edudel.nic in from 18.05.2016 (11.00 AM) -to 10;06.201'6 (UPTO 6

PM). Submission of applications other than online shall not be entertained and

any deviation in this regard shall lead to summary rejection. Applicants are

strictly instructed not to send any hard copy of the' application to this

department.

5. Order of merit list will be prepared on the basis of academic merit separately for each

category of applicants namely SC{ST/OBC(Delhl)/and Disabled persons.

6. Allocation of school to the selected candidate will be merit based and

preferably through a computerized programme without any human

Intervention. Request for change of school shall not be entertained at all at

any time during the engagement. If the person does not join within given

tIme, the offer of appointment will be cancelled.

7. The Guest EVGCs will be dis-engaged from the school as soon as a regular EVGC

joins the school and the Guest EVGCs working in that particular school will be

disengaged irrespective of his! her standing in the order of merit list initially drawn

for the purpose of engagement.

8. Guest EVGCsTeachers already engaged In DeIhl Government School need

not apply.

10. The order of merit list will be displayed on website on 15.06.2016 (6 p.rn) and the

schedule for verification of documents relating to age, qualifications, caste certificate

etc. at the respective district offices will be notified in due course of time on the web

portal of this directorate.

11. The engagement of Guest EVGCs for the current academic session i.e. 2016-17 will be

up to 10/05/2017 or the commencement of the summer vacation whichever is

earlier.

OTHER IMPORTANT CONDITIONS

1. Percentage of marks must be entered up to two places of decimal.2. The Guest EVGCs shall be paid @. Rs.900/- per day subject to maximum of

RS.22500/- per month as approved by Finance Department vide U.O. No. 36/053dated 08.06.2015

3. The candidate shall fill-up his I her name, Date of Birth, roll number, year of passingetc. as they appear in the pass certificate of class XII Examination. Any deviation inthis regard will lead to disqualification. Candidates in their own interest are advisedto fill up all the items in the online application form carefully and before submitting theform online he/she shall check the particulars on the "Review" Screen. Sub: Drawing a Panel of Guest Teachers fo.r Engagement in Delhi GovernmentSchools for the Academic Year 2017-18,

Applications are invited online from amongst the qualified youth for setting up a

panel of Guest Teachers for further engagement to the post(s) of Post Graduate Teacher

(PGTlLecturer). Trained Graduate Teacher (T.GT) and Mise, teachers (for Physical

Education. Drawing, Music, DomestiCScience & Special Education Teacher categories only)

In Delhi Government Schools, as and when required by the Directorate, for the Academic

year 2017-18.

Those guest teachers who have worked in the government schools

under Directorate of Education in the Academic years 2016-17. need not to

apply as their applications are already available in the Directorate.

Engagemer1tof Guest Teachers is subject to following Terms & Conditions:

1. Guest Teachers shall be engaged purely on ad-hoc and daily basis till the posts are filled

up on regular basis. Guest Teachers shall not be entitled to regular appointment. This is

purely a stop-gap arrangement. The candidates so engaged shall not claim salary.

allowances, leaves, facilities and other benefits accruing to the regular teachers. The

candidates so engaged as Guest Teachers shall not file any court case regarding salary and

regularization etc.

2. Directorate of Education will maintain a wait list J panel of candidates to meet any

requirement in the Academic Year .2017-1:8. Engagement of Guest Teachers will be done as

and when required by Sch·ooI/District.

3. Reservations and age relaxations to candidates belon'ging to SCISTJOBC and Disabled

persons will be given as per Govt. orders. The certificate of OBC should be issued by

authority of Govt. of NCT of Delhi. Certificate issued by any State/UT will be considered for

SCiST candidates. The candidates befo'ngingto Physically Handicapped category (Ortho +

VH only) must posses "Disability Certificate" issued from a Government Hospital.

from that school. irrespective of hisl her standing in the order of merit list initially drawn

district-wise for the purpose of engagement

8 Only those candidates who have passed Central Teaching Eligibility Test (CTET) will be

considered for TGT posts. However, this condition does not apply for Home Science, Music,

Drawing. Physical Education Teacher and Computer Science Teacher.

9, The order of merit list will be displayed on the website on 23/06/2017 (6:00PM). The

selected candidate will be called for engagement as guest teacher, as and when required by

school and the schedule for verification of documents relating to age. qualifications, caste

certificate etc. will be done by HOS concemed.

10 The engagement of Guest Teachers for the current academic session i.e. 2017-18 will

be up to 10/05/2018 or the commencement of the summer vacation whichever Is earlier.

departmental website and in case of any doubt re'garding RRs, the applicants are
