DIRECTORS CHARLES W. DODRILL, Director of Theatre since 1958, is a recipient of mony awords, includ ­

ing the "Top Ten Men of the Year" aword by the Columbus Citizen Journal in 1967. Dr. Dodri ll is past president of notiona l Theta Alpha Phi Theatre Honorary, the Ohio Speech Association and the Ohio Theatre Alliance. He is responsible for many innovations in Otterbein Theatre, including the ''guest star," summer the-otre, the professional theotr~ in tern program, and most recently the BFA degree in Theatre.

0. MARTYN BOOKWALTER hos just completed his MFA in Theatre Design ot the Colifomio Institute al the Arts. After graduation from Otterbein in 1975 he studied design at the Now York Lester Polokov Studio of Scene Design and taught design at the Dayton Arts Cen ter. He hos de· sig,ed over 50 major productions in recent years, including serving as Designer for the 1976 Summer Theatre, a position he wil l a l so fill this season.

PETIE DODRILL, a native Pennsy lvanian with o B.A. degree from Penn State and on M.F.A. in Theatre from Ohio University, hos worked as on actress, director, designer and costume desig,er for several theatres. She functions os Costume Designer and Children 's Theatre Director at Otterbein. She is also drama teacher o t Gahanna Lincoln High School.

DENNIS ROMER, a 1971 Otterbein graduate, was a guest actor and director for the 1975 Summer compony . Th i s season he wi ll appear in Jocquos Brei and direct No1 Now, Darling! Since 1975 he hos worked with Melvyn Douglas and Jeon Arthur ot the Cleveland P layhouse, toured the country with Howard Keel and John Raitt in Shenandoah. He hod o featured role with Kenley Players lost summer with Ri cordo Montalban starri ng. Recently he hos appeared on the day-time soap operas love of L ife and Somerset, industrial films and TV commercials.

SUMMER THEATRE COMPANY STEVEN BLACK, on Otterbein groduote from Co lumbus, is oppeoring wi th the Summer Acting

Company for the second time ("Snoopy" and other roles in 1975). This post winter, Steve served as on intern at the Actor's Theatre of Louisvi l le whi le major Otterbein roles included A Flea in Her Eor, Peter Pon ond West Side Story.

KENT BLOCHER, an Otterbein junior from Trotwood, joins the Summer company for the first t ime ofter previous experience with the Trotwood Circle Theatre. Appearances lost winter included roles in A Flea in Her Ear, Peter Pon and West Side Story.

DAVID BUTTERFIELD brings a wealth of various winter and summer theatre experiences to Otterbein. P revious activities include work in Ottowo ond Topeka, Kansas, a summer with the Weathervane Playhouse in 1976 and the Art Cincinnati Repertory lost winter.

BRUCE CROMER, o Wright Stole Un ivers ity junior from Westervil le brings on extensive bock· ground to his fi r st season with Otterbein. Major recent activities would include appearances in Godspe/1, Scopino, The Chalk Gorden, Frankenstein ond Little M<iry Sunshine.

JENNY HERRON, on Otterbein graduate from Dayton, returns for o second consecutive summer ofter major successes lost seoso.o in 6 Rooms Riv Vv and Born Yos terdoy. Jenny spent the foll as on i ntern at the Actor's Theatre of Lou isville, ond her winter Otterbein roles included Suzy in The Hot L Baltimore ond Anito in West Side Story.

KATHY KISER, on Otterbein sen ior from Trotwood, joins the Otterbein Summer Theatre for the f irst season having spent los t summer with the Trotwood Ci rcle Theatre. She appeared lost winter as The Girl in Hot L Baltimore, Tiger L ily in Peter Pon ond os o featu red dancer i n West Side Story.

ELLEN MARGULIES, o junior musical theatre major from Cincinnati, is a first year member of the acting company. Major theatre and music activities include Julie in Showboot, April in The Hot L Baltimore, Mario in West Side Story and featu red appearances os soloist with Opus Zero, the Otterbein pop music ensemble.

NANCY SHELTON, o senior from Columbus, was o member of the Sabino Born Theatre Company lost summer. Her major roles ot Otterbein inc lude Zerbinetta in Scopin, Elvira in Blithe Spir;t, Lucienne in A Flea in Her Ear, Jackie in Tho Hot L Baltimore and Thelma in West Side Story.

DAVID WELLER, on Otterbein senior from Springfield, joins the Otterbein Summer Theatre for the first season having appeared last summer with the Sabino Born Theatre. Roles lost winter in· eluded Poul in The Hot L Baltimore, Alfieri in A View from the Bridge and Arab in West Side Story.

BETH TITUS returns for her third season with the Otterbein Summer Theatre, the first two as actress and this time in costumes and acting. Beth also hod on internship at the Actor's Theatre of Lou i sville. Major winter on•campus activity included ploying Beatrice opposite guest artist Ric Mancini in A View from the B,;dge.

MARY JO YEAKEL, on Otterbein junior from Syracuse, New York joins the company os Moster Carpenter. Her extensive work in all oreos of technical theatre, particularly scenery and lighting lost winter merited o Theatre Service Award.

JAMES SCHILLING, on Otterbein junior from Columbus, joins the company as Properties Super· visor and actor. Major winter appearances included Jamie in The Hot L Bo/tjmore and Baby John in West Side Story.

MELISSA CAREY, on Otterbein sophomore from Worthington is serving os Box Office Super· visor this summer. Her outstanding freshman year activi ti es included on appearan ce as Millie in The Hot L Baltimore.

KAREN RADCLIFFE is o musical theatre major from Hilliard. Her freshman activities included roles in The Pirates of Penzance and West Side Story.

KELLY MAURER is on entering Otterbein freshman from Springfield. Recent major work in­cludes roles in Romeo and Juliet, Irene and You're a Good Mon, Chorl,e Brown .
