We can offer advice on the whole look of your environment

Sensory equipment is the main aspect of a sensory environment, but there are other considerations to make in order to really make it work. We can advise on the whole look of the room from wall colour, floor coverings, ceiling colour, heating, ventilation, storage, lighting levels, electrical plans and even the location of the room. See pages 94-97 for our ‘Setting up a sensory environment’ guide.

Most of our sensory environments are designed to be really easy to fit. However if want your room installed by the professionals we are pleased to offer an expert installation service wherever you are in the world. Our knowledgeable engineers have experience installing thousands of miles from home and are happy to come to you so that you’re confident everything is done just right.

Our sensory environments are built to last

To ensure peace of mind and because we are so sure of the quality of our products we offer an industry first: extended warranty. All products manufactured by Experia have a 3 year warranty which can be extended to 5 years if required (at additional cost). We have many happy customers still using our future-proofed products after 12 years!

We provide comprehensive training

A sensory environment is a big investment, and the right room can change lives, so you’ll want to use it to its full potential. Comprehensive training can be carried out by one of our experienced sensory trainers to keep your staff’s practical knowledge up to date. Following completion of training, they will each be issued with a certificate to add to their record.

We provide aftercare packages which are second to none

We believe that maintenance involves both keeping the equipment running and ensuring that it’s used correctly. Staff move on and the replacement staff can often be left behind with little or no knowledge of how to use your sensory environment. This is why our aftercare packages offer a Maintenance and Training Contract to ensure both your environment and your people are in tip-top condition.

4.Building Blocks

It’s time to order your new environment, so that our factory team can start crafting it, delivery can be arranged and installation can begin, whether you’re using your own installers or ours. If you’re using our engineers we will send you a works method statement so you can be sure the equipment will be fitted safely, on time and on budget.

5.Fulfilling Your Potential

To ensure you get the most out of your new environment, comprehensive training from one of our experienced sensory advisors can be requested. Following completion of training, staff will be issued with a certificate to add to their record. Alternatively, our online guides are a great way to get your environment up and running or provide a refresher.

Pure Strength– for soft play or sensory integration roomsExtremely durable and very tough, Pure Strength vinyl is purposely designed for challenging environments. It is manufactured from the highest quality plasticised PVC polymer directly coated onto both sides of a UK woven nylon substrate base. It comes in a range of 13 bright colours and has tear strength to BS 3424: 1982: Part 5: Method 7B standard.

Just Colour - for Sensory RoomsSoft to touch and very comfortable, Just Colour vinyl is ideal for use wherever a person will sit or lie, such as on soft plinths, seating or floor padding. It is REACH compliant, phthalate free, anti-microbial and compliant with BS5852 Ignition Source 7, BS7176 Medium Hazard and BS EN1021 (1 and 2) for fire retardancy. It comes in a range of 14 bright and elegant colours and has been tested to 500,000 rubs.

Choose your colour and make it your own! Our soft furniture, padding and plinths can be manufactured in various colours to suit the user, or to reflect your corporate colours. However, we recommend using Jasmine White in all sensory rooms so that the colour from the lighting effects can illuminate the padding.

Any colour works well in the Soft Play or Sensory Integration rooms, so feel free to choose from our Pure Strength range.

We use the finest vinyl covering to ensure your equipment is tough, durable and great to touch!
