Science in from Pune University in 1964. He completed his Ph.D from IIT Kanpur in 1978. He worked as Research fellow at

Government Engineering College, Jabalpur. He got the Technical Teachers Training program from IIT Bombay. He worked in

various Government colleges of Engineering as faculty of Civil engineering. He also worked on various bodies of universities and

committees of Government of Maharashtra and AICTE. He worked as an expert at Military Tech. College Baghdad (Iraq) on

deputation from Government of India. His areas of interest are Geotechnical engineering, Optimization Techniques and

Numerical methods. Presently he is working as a Professor in Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering.

Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), Planning & Monitoring Board, Organizing Committee for the Indo-US Conclave,

Standing Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) for Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). He has received “Best Paper Award” for the

paper titled “Ultra-Thin Whitetopping in India: State of Practice.” He has been awarded as “Best Principal” by Savitribai Phule Pune

University, Pune under Professional Courses (Urban) Category He also has been awarded as “Best Teacher" and Certificate of

Excellence for Leadership" by Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidya- Pratishthan Society, Pune. He is a member of various professional bodies like MIE,

ISTE, ASCE, Member of Institute of Urban Transport, India. Indian Institute of Geotechnical Engineering, Asian Society for

Doctorate (one student from Iran) and more than 14 students completed ME/ M. Tech (two Swedish students) under his guidance.

About: Dr. S S Shahapure was born on 11st May 1965. He received B.E.(Civil) degree from Government College of Engineering,

Karad (affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur) in June 1986. He received, Master of Civil Engineering (Arcitecture and Town

Planning) from Government College of Engineering, Pune in 1995. He completed his Ph.D in Civil Engineering from Indian

Institute of Technology, Bombay, Powai Mumbai, Maharashtra. Presently he is working as Professor in the Department of Civil

Engineering at Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering , Tathawade Pune. He has a teaching experience of 29 years and industrial

experience of 2 years. His research field of interest includes, Application Of Numerical Methods In Water Resource Engineering,

Watershed management. He was selected by IIT Bombay for industrial training at Tokyo (Kajima Corporation) Japan. He

successfully completed 2 months industrial training at Tokyo (Kajima Corporation) Japan. He has published papers in ASCE and

Springer.

Dr. Gopal M. Alapure passed his ‘Diploma in Civil Engineering’ from ‘Puranmal Lahoti Government Polytechnic, Latur’ in 1988.

He graduated with ‘Bachelor of Civil Engineering’ from ‘Cuscrow Wadia Institute of Technology, Pune’ in 2007. He completed his

post-graduation in ‘Civil Engineering’ with specialization, ‘Town and Country Planning’ from ‘College of Engineering, Pune’ in

2009. He earned MBA’ with specialization ‘Finance’ from a constituent of ‘Symbiosis International University, Pune’ in 2011. He

worked in private and Government sectors more than two decades in his capacity. He has been felicitated by ‘Pune Municipal

Corporation’ with ‘Gunvant Abhiyanta Puraskar’ for his outstanding performance in the ‘Department of Land Acquisition’ in

2009. He has been awarded Ph.D. by IIT Kharagpur, West Bengal, India in 2017. His research topic is ‘Sustainability Assessment

Model for Residential Built Forms in Indian Context’. He has developed ‘Built Form Sustainability Assessment Model; Software

About: Ambareesh Kshirsagar was born on 5th January 1990. She received B.Sc. degree in Applied Geology from St. Xavier’s

College, Mumbai in April 2011. He was awarded a Master of Science degree in Applied Geology from Karnataka University,

Dharwad in 2013. Presently he is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Rajarshi Shahu College

of Engineering, Pune and has a total teaching experience of 4 years. Her research field of interest includes Plate tectonics,

Himalayan Geology, Remote Sensing, GIS, and Digital Image Interpretation.
