The sun and the moon and the stars Are all hanging high above

Hanging up there Lighting our way Looking down on us

Hey sun, hey moon, hey stars Hey sun, hey moon, hey stars

The sun and the moon and the stars

Can see wherever you are They spy you in turns

While the other ones rest and time turns into days weeks and months

The sun and the moon and the stars

Like to play games with clouds They like to hide So we cannot see

And it gets pretty dark on the ground

Hey sun, Hey moon, Hey stars Hey sun, Hey moon, Hey stars

I’d catch you if I had really long arms I’d catch you If I had really long arms

Angie Who One day in the lounge room, I said to my 3yr old daughter,

'What shall we write a song about?' and she said 'The sun and the moon and the stars'...and this is what happened next.

Hey Sun

Someday day you’ll be too big to hold Some day my baby I’ll be pretty old

So let’s tarry and treasure these days My sweetie sweetheart oh my travelling band

Some days are hard

But they will get better You are so small and we’re learning together

You in my arms our love tried and true All you need to know is that I sure love you

Ski jumpy nose and sausagey fingers

Crocodile tears and a stare that sure lingers Dinner roll feet and dimply hands

Who knew that such love in my heart would land

Angie Who This song tumbled out on the way home from the park one day.

I had been talking with a friend about motherhood and the juggling and  our creative hungry souls.

Travelling Band

Let’s take a walk Dum da dee dum

Hand in hand Dum da dee dum Let’s take a walk

 Out in the sun

We can go high We can go low

We can go wherever you want to go Valley so deep River so wide

Wherever you go I’ll be there by your side

Angie Who & Mum When I was really little my mum would sing the first part of this

song to me, she made it up and I completed it for this album so she would know it meant a lot to me.

Let's Take a Walk

Heart of Mine

Well the sky is blue Oh the sky it is blue

Then sometimes it is grey And the sun it shines

Oh the sun yes it shines Sometimes it hides away

And I love you dear

When the sun is near And when the sky is grey

Oh love of mine Oh heart of mine

I love you all the time

Where the dirt is red Where the dirt is red

The brightest flowers grow When it’s time for bed

My sleepy head Will rest on my pillow

Angie Who I came up with this song on a cloudy day,

my baby boy was fresh out of the bath looking up at me with his blue eyes and

I was feeling all the feelings.

Sailing sailing into the gleaming sun Sailing sailing in a little boat for one

Sailing sailing wherever the wind may blow Sailing sailing up and down we go

Sailing sailing over the ocean blue

Sailing sailing in a little boat for two Sailing sailing under a starry sky

Sailing sailing into the darkest night

Sailing sailing enjoying the ocean breeze Sailing sailing in a little boat for three

Sailing sailing over a bumpy sea Sailing sailing I love your company

Angie Who A song born at the dinner table trying to get a baby to eat her dinner.

Chicken Dinner Song

My bonnie lies over the ocean My bonnie lies over the sea

Bring back bring back

Oh, bring back my bonnie to me to me Bring back bring back

Oh blow ye winds over the ocean Oh blow ye winds over the sea

The winds have blown over the ocean

The winds have blown over the sea The winds have blown over the ocean

And brought back my bonnie to me

Traditional This was the song that settled my daughter when

she was a baby, it was like magic.

My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean

Hush little baby now don’t you cry Mammas gonna sing you a lullaby

Hush little baby now don't say a word Papa's gonna buy you a mockingbird

And if that mockingbird won't sing

Papa's gonna buy you a diamond ring And if that diamond ring turns brass

Papa's gonna buy you a looking glass

Hush now little baby  Hush now little darlin'

Hush little baby now don’t you cry Hush little baby say goodnight

Angie Who  Adapted from 'Hush Little Baby' (Traditional).

I didn't think it needed improving, it just happened when I was walking in the city one night.

Land of Nod

Off we go to the land of nod The land of nod we know

And on our way we will hush the day And off to sleep we’ll go

Everyday there are things to do

And new things to explore Close your eyes now and go to sleep

Tomorrow we can do some more You are my special little mite

And I love you so Close your eyes now and go to sleep

Off to nod we go

Written by my friend Maggie MacKenzie, for her own little one. Thank you for trusting me with your lullaby Maggie x.
