conferences. A paper on “examination system in an autonomous institution”. Presented at all

India seminar in technical education held at madurai, received the first prize. (list of

The project titled “combinational lock”, done under my supervision won the tamil nadu

14. Administrative Experience:

At government college of technology in addition to regular work i was given additional

responsibility og maintaining the loboratory, which includes the managing the non

teaching staffs of the department, arranging the local visits, short educational tours and

long educational tours for the students. An exhibition was arranged in our departments

to celebrate the silver jubilee year of the institution.

As the first principal during the period 1984 at k.s.rangasamy institute of technology,

tiruchengode, apart from the administrative responsibilities, i was also responsible for its

infrastructure developments. I was wholly responsible to the entire building required

like, administrative block, class rooms, drawing halls, library, various loboratory

buildings etc. Also provided facilities for the extracurricular activities like sports, games

etc and erected various laboratories required for the department for civil engineering,

mechanical engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, physics, chemistry and

workshop. During my tenure as the principal the k.s.rangasamy institute of technology

was awarded the best institution among the self –financing institutions in tamil nadu.

At Coimbatore Institute of Technology i was given additional responsibilities of

incharge for control engineering laboratory, which involves purchase, erection and

maintenance of equipments. Also incharge for the students co-curricular activities like

arranging seminars, conference and institutional meeting like institution of engineers

(india), indian society for technical education (iste), computer society of india (csi) and

institute of electrical and electronics engineering usa (ieee) k.s.rangasamy institute of

technology, i was given the responsibilities to look at the all p.g courses and research

programs.

At Coimbatore Institute Of Technology, Coimbatore I Was Given The Responsibility Of

The First Controller Of The Examinations When It Became Autonomous Institutions

Affiliated To Bharathiyar University In The Year 1987.During My Tenure I Developed

A Self Contained Controller Office With All Required Facilities To Conduct The

Examinations, Processing And publication of results. for quick publication of result

error free results for students, software were developed and implemented.

At University Pertanian Malaysia, Malaysia, i was solely responsible for the

development of electrical engineering laboratory with a special attention to d.c and a.c

machines laboratories.
