EVALUACIÓN FINAL 62
Inglés VI 2021 A

Expresando futuro
https://jorgeiparraguirre.com/pasado-presente-futuro/
Come on, I will help you organize the files.
You won’t finish it in just one day. (No lo terminarás en solo un día.)
It will rain tomorrow anyway. (De todos modos lloverá mañana.)
• Promesas o intenciones.
I will do it tomorrow.
If I need help, I will tell you. (Si necesito ayuda, te lo diré.)
9
Indicadores
• I think pienso • Probably probablemente • Perhaps tal vez
afirmativa negativa interrogativa
Todas las personas: I, you, he/she/it, we, you, they
I will speak
I will not speak
Will I speak?
will
…’ll
they’ll
will not …’ll not/… won’t I’ll not/I won’t
Ejemplo: He won’t finish it in just one day. No lo terminará en sólo un día. My colleague/Phil won’t finish it in just one day.
Inglés VI 2021 A
Ejemplo: He’ll not finish it in just one day.

• He may come tomorrow – Es posible que venga mañana. • He may not come tomorrow – Es posible que no venga mañana.

• May he come tomorrow?
• Yes, he may • No, he may not.
• May I leave now?
• You may start the exam, if you want.

FIRST CONDITIONAL
“If you study hard, you will graduate from Bachilleres”
Inglés VI 2021 A
If I pass the exam, I will celebrate with my friends.
If + subject + base verb, subject … + modal (will, may, might, could) + base verb
tiempo futuro.
Veamos el siguiente ejemplo desde otra perspectiva:
PRESENTE SIMPLE
(CONDICIÓN)
FUTURO SIMPLE (WILL O VERBO MODAL) (RESULTADO)
If you study,
(Si estudias,
you will pass the exam.
aprobarás el examen)
FORMA NEGATIVA
If you don´t study, (Si no estudias,
you won´t pass the exam. no aprobarás el examen)
You won´t pass the exam if you don´t study

https://blog.cambridge.es/media-gallery/cambio-del-tiempo-verbal-en-reported-speech/
She said she was coming to class (Ella dijo que iba a venir a clase).
I told you I wouldn’t be able to come (Te dije que no podría venir).
You said you would help me! (¡Dijiste que me ayudarías!).
Inglés VI 2021 A
Reglas
Estilo directo:
I am happy to drive you to the airport.
Me alegra llevarte en coche al aeropuerto.
Reported speech o estilo indirecto:
She said she was happy to drive me to the airport.
Estilo directo (present simple) Estilo indirecto o reported speech (past
simple)
I know what to do (Sé lo que hay que hacer). She said she knew what to do (Dijo que
sabía lo que había que hacer).
I don’t know what to do (No sé qué hay que
hacer).
She said she didn’t know what to do (Dijo
Do you know what to do? (¿Sabes lo que
hay que hacer?).
She asked if I knew what to do* (Preguntó si
yo sabía lo que había que hacer).
35
Estilo directo (present continuous) Estilo indirecto o reported speech (past
continuous)
I’m working on it this week (Estoy
trabajando en ello esta semana).
He said he was working on it this week*
(Dijo que estaba trabajando en ello esta
semana).
I’m not working on it this week (No estoy
trabajando en ello esta semana).
He said he wasn’t working on it this week
semana).
Are you working on it this week? (¿Estás
trabajando en ello esta semana?).
He asked if I was working on it this week
semana).
* Más abajo encontrarás cómo hacer referencia a distintos momentos temporales.
Estilo directo (present perfect) Estilo indirecto o reported speech (past
perfect)
I’ve finished my lunch (He terminado de
comer).
She said she had finished her lunch (Dijo
que había terminado de comer).
I haven’t finished my lunch (No he
terminado de comer).
She said she hadn’t finished her lunch (Dijo
que no había terminado de comer).
Have you finished your lunch? (¿Has
terminado de comer?).
She asked if I had finished my lunch
(Preguntó si yo había terminado de comer).
Estilo directo (will) Estilo indirecto o reported speech (would)
I’ll finish the report on time (Terminaré el
informe a tiempo).
She said she would finish the report on
time (Dijo que terminaría el informe a tiempo).
I won’t finish the report on time (No
terminaré el informe a tiempo).

time (Dijo que no terminaría el informe a
tiempo).

time (Preguntó si yo terminaría el informe a
tiempo).
Inglés VI 2021 A
Estilo directo (past simple) Estilo indirecto o reported speech (past
perfect)
I did the training at the same time as Carol
Carol).
She said she had done the training at the
same time as Carol (Dijo que había hecho el
I didn’t do the training at the same time as
She said she hadn’t done the training at the
same time as Carol (Dijo que no había hecho
Did you do the training at the same time as
She asked if I had done the training at the
same time as Carol (Preguntó si yo había
Carol).
Estilo directo (past continuous) Estilo indirecto o reported speech (past
perfect continuous)
I was staying at my sister’s (Yo estaba
viviendo en casa de mi hermana).
He said he had been staying at his sister’s
hermana).
I wasn’t staying at my sister’s (Yo no estaba
viviendo en casa de mi hermana).
He said he hadn’t been staying at his
Were you staying at your sister’s?
(¿Estabas viviendo en casa de tu hermana?).
He asked if I had been staying at my sister’s
(Preguntó si yo había estado viviendo en casa
de mi hermana).
Pasado perfecto = Past perfect
I had already left when you arrived.
Ya me había ido cuando tú llegaste
She said she had already left when I arrived.
37
Referencia a distintos momentos temporales y lugares

PRESENT PERFECT
(3) https://whatsup.es/blog/los-secretos-del-presente-perfecto-en-ingles
I have studied in Bachilleres since 2017!
¡Adelante!
Inglés VI 2021 A
Ejemplo: I have studied in Bachilleres. Yo he estudiado en Bachilleres (y sigues
estudiando) I have lived in Mexico for 15 years.
Ejemplo: Have you ever eaten snails? (¿Alguna vez has comido caracoles?
Has she ever flown to Cancún?
a) How long have you baked that cake? (¿Por cuánto tiempo has horneado ese
pastel?)
b) I have cooked it for 1 hour. (Lo he horneado por 1 hora)
c) I have lived here since 1997. (He vivido aquí desde
Have you finished your homework yet? (¿Has terminado tu tarea ya?) No, I haven’t yet.
(No todavía. [pero será pronto]). She has already finished her job.
Afirmativa:
Subject + auxiliar + verb (past participle) +
complement. Ejemplo:
I have written two poems.

y Negativo)
I
We
You
They
He
