How to add music to your iTunes library from a computer. ***Make sure you know where your downloaded folder is on your computer before starting the procedure. How to add music to your iTunes library from a computer.
***Make sure you know where your downloaded folder is on your computer before starting the procedure. Normally, the folder is saved to your downloads. Step 1 : Open the iTunes application on your computer. Make sure you are in the "Library" & "Recently Added" tabs.
Step 2 : Click on the "File" tab
Step 3 : Click on the option : "Add to library" * If you have a PC, and not a MAC, there will be 2 options:
- "Add a file to the library" - "Add a folder to the library"
Choose "Add folder to library"
Step 4 : Select the album which will be called "HSP_MP3" or "HSP_WAV [...]" depending on the format you have chosen. This folder is usually found in the "Downloads" folder of your computer. * If you have received a new download link and your download was done through WeTransfer, the file will be called "Harmonium Symphonique MP3" or "Harmonium Symphonique WAV [...]".
Step 5 : Select the folder and then click on the "Open" button.
Step 6 : Your album will be downloaded to your iTunes and will appear under “Unknown Album / Unknown Artist”. *Since this is an external download and the music does not belong to iTunes, it does not recognize the downloaded CD. That is why it is «Unknown».
EXTRA If you want to change the name of the artist, the name of the album and add the album cover, you can follow the steps below: Step 7 : Click on the "Unknown album" to see the list of songs. You will see 3 small white dots in a blue circle on the right side. Click on these dots.
Step 8 : Select the option "Album Info"
Step 9 : A window will appear saying: "Are you sure you want to edit information for multiple items? ". Click on “Edit Items”.
Step 10 : Add the artist's name (Harmonium Symphonique) and the name of the album (Histoires sans paroles).
Step 11 : Select the "Artwork" tab and then click on the "Add Artwork" button at the bottom.
Step 12 : Select the image "Harmonium Symphonique HSP.jpg" which is in your downloaded folder then click on "Open".
Step 13 : Enjoy your music !
