A co-educational B.Ed. college under the aegis of PARAMHANS SINGH & SMT. DURGAWATI DEVI
PUBLIC EDUCATIONAL TRUST in the second venture of this reputed trust after the success story of
Subhash public School, a 10+2 English Med. Co-ed Residential cum Day School affiliated to CBSE, New
Delhi.
The trust was established by its Founder Chairman the Late Parmhans Singh, a retd. Army Officer, a
visionary and Philanthropist who dreamt of catapulting Giridih to the educational map of the country.
Thus Subhash Public School was born.
In continuation to the obsession of providing world class education, the need to produce trained
human resource was felt and become the next venture of the Trust. Thus Shubhash Teachers’ training
college, Providing B.Ed. course, has taken shape. The Immediate and long term objective of this
college is to train student teachers of today into well equipped quality teachers of tomorrow and be a
perennial source of producing and providing skilled human resources to Giridih in particular and the
people and society in general.
ii. Vision Statement:
The college aims at developing a unique system of education which would be rooted to our traditional
values, culture and heritage, ready to embrace the new changes in the field of educational technology,
modern concepts and e-learning.
At STTC education means a complete grooming package of the mind, body, soul, psyche’
personality and attitude.
It aims to change the way the teachers think about the teaching jpb and conduct themselves in Public
life. This will help them to re-define their roles and responsibilities towards society.
