Psychology Department

1. About Department:

The Psychology Department was established in year 1983. Initially

under graduation classes were started and later 2001 under self finance

scheme post graduation classes were started. The department then became

the first centre for post graduate studies so as to provide education to male

candidate.

Programme outcomes-

To develop the ability to counsel and direction capacity. To knowledge the students about humanity and make them to act

responsibly towards such issues. To impart knowledge about the unrecognized mental orthodoxies and

unhealthy behaviourism, there reasons and cautions. To improve and develop students adjustment capabilities, recognition

and optimism. To develop students attitude measurement and interests as well as

forbearance. To develop the sensibility of students knowledge of social security.

Program Specific Outcomes-

To develop the capability and knowledge with regards to human resource development, its rules regulations and counseling in same regards.

To knowledge the students in regards with mental health as a subject and its development.

To develop the outcomes of theoretical knowledge as well as practical knowledge about the subject.

To develop the Research knowledge and capabilities in Research field. To develop Clinical and Diagnostic proficiency in the subject field. To impart knowledge regarding personality development and Types of

personality. To introduce the students and knowledge in regards with Society,

sociability, and other Social factors. To knowledge student about educational psychology and its

generalization in education.
