In the latest version of coresuite mobile, you can work with territories. You can defineterritories in SAP and assign them to business partners and sales employees. The salesemployees can then only see the business partners of the assigned territories.

12Permissions

Permissions4

The permission group for “Territories” is called “GROUP”. To be able to work with territories, setthe following permissions:

Create NONE

Read* OWN: You will only see territories (and sub-territories) that are assignedto you in SAP. ALL: There is no restriction; you can see all territories.

Update NONE

Delete NONE

*The default value here is NONE.

If you use territories, this changes the meaning of “OWN” in the business partner permissions:

Permissionobject

Permission

BUSINESSPARTNER

OWN

GROUP OWN / ALL

Effect: Business partners for which you are the assigned sales person or whichyou have created: The territories will not have an effect, i.e. you willstill see these business partners, even if they are assigned to otherterritories. Business partners for which you are not the assigned sales person andwhich you have not created: If the business partner is in a territorythat is assigned to you, you will see them, otherwise you will not.

Known issues5

Once you have assigned one or several territories to a business partner, you can still changethem. However, deleting them does not work at the moment. When you delete a territory, itdisappears from your device/from the business client, but in SAP it is not removed. We havereported this error to SAP. As soon as this has been fixed, deleting territories will work again.
