What does the CIP pack consist of?

The pack contains 1 CIP, 1 OBD cable, 1 screwdriver set and 1 reset pin. In addition, you will receive the CIP quick start manual with clear explanations and tips.

Connecting the CIP to another network

Would you like to use a different network than the one in your workshop? For exam-ple if you are travelling or in a different location? This is possible! The provided reset pin allows you to connect the CIP to another network in a few minutes.

Via an orange and a green LED you can see whether the CIP is successfully connected to the Car Lock Systems server.

How to order a CIP Service fast

Log into our website and enter the chassis number of the vehicle. Are you ordering a key? The CIP logo indicates whether the key is CIP-compatible.

If you want to have the key programmed, you select ‘yes’. Once you have received the key you ordered, connect the CIP to the car to have the key programmed. The CIP will recognise the vehicle and automatically find the programming you orde-red in advance. Other CIP services, such as tow bar programming, can be found at the top right in your ordering screen under the ‘CIP Services’ tab. You can also order these services in advance.

Get the PIN/transponder code from the vehicle

The CIP can also read PIN/transponder codes from the vehicles of lots of brands. This provides a great advantage when, for example, ECUs or control units are replaced. The codes recorded in the factory during production are often no longer correct. Removing them directly from the vehicle prevents malfunctions.

Programming of keys and remote controls

The CIP programmes keys for almost all car brands while keeping the car in one place. Our specialists ‘take over’ the vehicle from you and programme the keys in an instant. You no longer have to drive the car to (another) dealer, which saves a lot of time and money.

Pre-encoding and programming code-2 keys

Certain keys are based on a so-called code-2 system. Think of Fiat, Alfa, Lan-cia, Iveco and all other Fiat-based models. New code-2 keys can be ordered from the factory. This is often a long and difficult process. That is why we now offer a special (self-developed), coded key/remote control. Through the CIP, our diagnostic specialist reads the pre-coding from the car. Then you insert the new key into the key holder of the CIP. This will code the transponder cor-rectly within a few minutes. Then we programme the key to the car. Pre-en-coding is also possible for a number of commercial vehicles with code-2 keys.

Perform diagnostics and interval resets

The CIP is so much more than a key programmer. You can also use additional diagnostic and programming services with the CIP. In particular, the CIP can perform diagnostics and service interval resets on vehicles of lots of brands, including brands that are unfamiliar to your car repair shop.
