50 Bluegrass & Fiddle Tunes

Volume 1

Operating Instructions

If you are holding this chord book, you are in some way associated with JamAlong Music Method! And if so, then you probably know the drill: you don’t really know a song until you can jam with it! And the first step to being able to jam with any song is knowing the chords, so you can play back-up and fit into the jam. Use this booklet as a stepping-stone to getting the chords memorized (eventually), and when you have a song committed to memory check the “Ch” check box in the contents. You will also want to move beyond simply playing chords however, and learn “leads” to the songs as well. This means to play a melody part on your given instrument, so you can take the spotlight when it comes your turn! If you can play leads to any of these songs, make sure to check the “L” box so you will know to be ready at the jam. If you don’t play leads yet, just contact us at JamAlong and we will get you going! Just tell us what instrument, what level (beginner, intermediate or advanced), and we will send you TAB, notation and audio recordings for any song you want! Call or text (530) 566-3629, or email at [email protected] And be sure to find us on Facebook and YouTube to keep up with the latest, just look for “JamAlong”! Happy Jamming!
