Welcome to the Winspear Opera House on the AT&T Performing Arts Center campus. A Bronx Tale started as a one-man show in Los Angeles in the ‘80s, then moved to Off Broadway, then became a movie in 1993 before arriving on Broadway as a solo play in 2007 – and now the musical. Chazz Palminteri’s semi-autobiographical coming-of-age story has been entertaining audiences in different forms for decades; and perhaps the only way to improve it is to add music in the style of the 1960s.

Next up in the AT&T Performing Arts Center’s Broadway Series is the Lincoln Center Theater production of Falsettos; followed by the hilarious The Play That Goes Wrong; back by popular demand is Beautiful – The Carole King Musical; direct from London is Bat Out of Hell; then Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. In other words, we’re going to cry, laugh, rock, roll, and be in a world of pure imagination.

And that’s just Broadway. In 2019 we’ll also have the world’s biggest-selling soprano Sarah Brightman, Live from Here with Chris Thile, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Joan Baez on her farewell tour, and many more. Not to mention shows by our five resident companies who are all among the best in the country: Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico, Dallas Black Dance Theatre, The Dallas Opera, Dallas Theater Center and Texas Ballet Theater. And the best dance companies from around the world, brought to the Dallas Arts District through our partnership with TITAS Presents. You can also see some of the coolest new work being made right here in Dallas by small and emerging arts groups in our Elevator Project series.

Thank you for supporting the arts, and we hope to see you many more times in 2019!

Debbie Storey Interim President and CEO AT&T Performing Arts Center
