ANGUS LICENSING BOARD Minute of the special meeting of the ANGUS LICENSING BOARD held in the Reid Hall, Castle Street, Forfar on Wednesday 16 January 2008 immediately following the quarterly meeting.

AGENDA

1. CONFIRMATION OF LICENCEHOLDER’S ATTENDANCE AT TRAINING COURSE

The Board were advised that Marie Faherty of B-lo, 41 Market Street, Montrose had completed a relevant training course in January 2007.

2. UPDATED REPORT ON ALTERATIONS TO LICENSED PREMISES The Board were advised that the alterations to premises at All Stars International, 19 Swan Street, Brechin were now complete.

3. TEMPORARY TRANSFER OF ENTERTAINMENT AND PUBLIC HOUSE LICENCES – SEATON CARAVAN PARK, SEATON ESTATE, ARBROATH The Board noted that an application had been lodged by Seaton Catering Limited and Niki Kingston. Mr and Mrs Whittingham and Niki Kingston were in attendance together with legal agent, Jacqueline Ireland of Kerr Stirling. The letter from Tayside Police dated 20 December 2007 was circulated to the Board. The Board were advised a contract of employment had been received and this was subsequently circulated. Chief Inspector Clark confirmed he was now satisfied that Ms Kingston will be employed with Seaton Catering Limited with effect from February 2008. The Board were also advised that the premises were closed but were due to re-open in March 2008. The Board agreed to grant the temporary transfer of the public house and entertainment licences. The Board also requested that the licenceholder undertakes the appropriate training course.
