3.1) Established in year: 1980

3.2) Brief information of your institution (Max 5-8 lines): University of Muria Kudus always strives to preserve the nation's cultural values, especially the cultural values in the Kudus regency which have the philosophy of Sunan Kudus heritage namely "GUSJIGANG". "GUS" means to behave well, "JI" means to like studying and "GANG" which means to trade. Based on this philosophy, University of Muria Kudus try to create a university that yield graduates who are polite, intelligent and have an entrepreneurial spirit. Representative campus, impressive and adequate infrastructure facilities make students feel at home on campus both in conducting academic activities to develop hard skills and non-academic activities in order to hone and strengthen soft skills. Adequate hard skills and soft skills will support the realization of polite, intelligent and entrepreneurial graduates.

3.3) Strengths of programmes/ academic faculties/ courses offered at your institutions (in brief): University of Muria Kudus has six faculties in bachelor’s degree level which consist of Economic, Engineering, Psychology, Agriculture, Law, and Teacher Training and Education. Each of Faculties are divided into departments. Moreover, the major of master’s degrees are offered, such as Low Department, Primary Education Department, and Management Department. All of majors are arranged to combine theory and local wisdom since our guidance refer to Ideological foundation (Pancasila) and Philosophy Foundation (Gusjigang). Our goal is molding polite, intelligent and entrepreneurial graduates.
