BUSINESS HOURS….Our locations are open Monday thru Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday, 9 AM to 3 PM. Call or check www.DurantsParty.com for seasonal hours. Arrangements can be made for an after hour appointment. Please ask a consultant.

RENTAL TIME….Most prices quoted are for a 2-day period. If you desire to use rental items for a longer period, please call us for long-term rates.

PAYMENT TERMS….The balance of your payment is due prior to delivery or upon pick-up at one of our showrooms. A 50% deposit is due for all tent reservations. All charges are for time out, whether the product is used or not. We accept major credit cards, cash and local checks with a valid driver’s license.

DAMAGE WAIVER….A damage waiver fee of 10% is an option available to all renters. This fee relieves the renter from liability for accidental damage to rental product. EXCLUDED from this waiver is intentional damage, misuse, lost, theft or mysterious disappearance. All damaged/broken items must be returned!

ORDER CHANGE/CANCELLATIONS...If a customer is picking up their order, adjustments can be made at any time. Changes for delivery orders must be made no less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled delivery. Cancellations made less than 14 days before your event forfeit all deposits. Cancellations made after delivery, installation, or pick-up forfeit all payments.

DELIVERY/PICKUP…..Please understand our deliveries are tailgate, which means our driver will place the rental product within 20 feet of where his truck can safely back up to. Our office will be happy to quote an additional carry fee should you desire the rental product to be placed elsewhere. Delivery charges are based on zip codes. Schedules are made in advance, and you will be notified several days prior to your delivery date. Deliveries made on Saturdays or Sundays may incur an extra charge. Set-up and take-down of tables and chairs is available for an extra charge and a site plan must be provided.

EQUIPMENT USE….Instructions will be provided for all amusement equipment rented. Please be sure to inspect all equipment upon pick up or upon delivery. After your event, tables and chairs should be knocked down, stacked, and ready for pick-up. All china, glassware, etc. should be rinsed, food free, and repacked in the containers they were received in. Linens should be refuse free and dry to prevent mildew.

APPETIZERSThe rule of thumb is 5 to 7 appetizers per person. If you’re just serving appetizers without a main course then count on 7 to 8 appetizers per person.

By serving a variety of appetizers, you will please everyone. What if you have a vegetarian and a carnivore? Your best bet is to serve at least 3 to 4 different varieties of appetizers for larger parties.

The amount of food you should plan on serving depends on how many side dishes you are serving, entrees, and how extravagant your cocktail reception is. The rule of thumb is ½ lb. of uncooked meat per person, ¼ lb. of side dishes per person (2-3) dishes and 1-2 desserts.

Beautiful presentation is just as important as how good the food tastes. Think about colors and contrast. Brightly colored glass plates or patterned serving plates will show the food off nicely. Don’t forget to garnish with bright flowers, lush green leaves or herbs. If you have dips to serve with the appetizers, try hollowing out a bell pepper or red cabbage to use as a container, or try a teacup, ramekin or small bowls.

TRAFFIC FLOW IDEASIf you want to avoid congestion try breaking up your food presentation into small stations located strategically throughout your home. You want people to flow through your space and to mingle. Since cocktails are the first thing people gravitate to, try putting the bar in the back of the room. Then look for dead space to set up food stations. You can always pass around the appetizers if you have help. If not, create an hors d’oeuvres buffet table! If you want to hide some of the clutter and save room, put a tablecloth on the buffet table and store extra bottles, ice, napkins, etc. underneath the table, for easy access during the party.

DRINK TIPS Red wines are best served at 65°F (slightly cooler than room temperature). White wines should be chilled and served at 45-55°F. (Chill about one hour in advance of the party.) Champagnes should be served completely chilled. Red wine should also breathe for about one hour prior to drinking.

For your bar - Don’t forget the garnish, which makes a world of difference. Provide olives, lemon or lime twists and peels, cherries, celery, etc. You can try freezing your beer mugs for effect and rimming your cocktail glasses with sugar or salt. And don’t forget the ice!

You can assume that 10 guests will consume about 4 to 5 drinks for the evening. If you are just serving hard alcohol, that’s approximately 20 shots. (Based on 1.5 oz. per shot - - 2 per person). A bottle of wine usually yields about 5 cocktails. If you buy beer, consider purchasing 6-packs or bottles.

Gin, vodka, rum and bourbon are the most common ingredients for most mixed drinks and can also be served on the rocks. You should also have essential mixers like soft drinks, soda and tonic water and orange and cranberry juice. Have wine and beer available. As far as glassware, try wine glasses, highballs, and double old-fashions.

Durants two and three stall rest rooms feature two and three self-contained private comfort stations respectively, out fitted much like your guests might find in their home. Each station offers a well lit vanity, complete privacy, no stalls or side by side urinals. The attractive pristine white interiors project an ambience of ultra cleanliness. Complete with filled soap dispensers, toilet paper, paper towels and trash cans, this unit is ready to use. The unit is supplied by spigot and garden hose or a 125 gallon on board fresh water holding tank. The exclusive fold-down steps provide a spacious 38” deep landing for your guest’s convenience and safety. The two stall restroom is equipped with a 320 gallon holding tank, this rest room is ideal for small to mid-sized events, allowing approximately 900 flushes.

The three stall rest room is equipped with a 450 gallon holding tank and approximately 1250 flushes, this rest room is ideal for accommodating larger groups of people and minimizing rest room wait time. The rest room includes one male stall and two female stalls. Both Comfort Elites offer heat or air conditioning for your guest’s comfort. This unit is fully self contained using a single dedicated 20 amp outlet or Durants can provide a small generator.
