1. The prize shall be known as the “University Journalism Association Siddavanahalli Krishnasharma Memorial Prize.”

2. The prize shall be awarded to a student who takes Journalism as one of the subjects for study at the bachelor of arts degree and scores the highest number of marks in Editioral Practice (paper-iv) during the years 1976-77 ad 1977-78. Later, form 1978-79 and onwards the prize shall be awarded to the candidate securing the highest marks in “Editorial Methods” and “Newspaper Administration” put together. The marks of the Semesters III and IV papers must be taken while awarding the Cash Prize. Then onwards, the award may kindly be given for the same subjects under the same terms and conditions.
