Developed, directed and team-taught in the National Center's 2nd Summer Research Institute program to train teams of dental hygiene educators, clinicians and researchers in electronic communications and information management to advance dental hygiene research. Four-day program (28 hours) for 30 dental hygiene participants in 1996 and 1997 from universities throughout the United States. Modified and presented to 24 occupational therapy and physical therapy researchers and educators (21 hours) in 1998.

1994-1996 Established the National Center for Dental Hygiene Research. Developed, directed and team-taught in the National Center's Summer Research Institute program to train teams of dental hygiene educators, clinicians and researchers in how to build a collaborative team, conduct theory-based research, and prepare proposals for external funding.
