GEBRAKAN PRESIDEN JOKOWI GAIRAHKAN SEKTOR PARIWISATA28 Mei 2016
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - President Joko Widodo
respects Indonesian tourism the most. The 10 new
destinations, branded as “10 New Balis” is one of the
proofs of his and Vice President Jusuf Kalla’s
seriousness in creating a strategy to generate Foreign
Income in the quickest and easiest way.
"Luar biasa, pariwisata sudah dimasukkan dalam program
utama, program prioritas, selain infrastruktur, pangan, energi
dan maritim," kata Asnawi Bahar, Ketua Asita Pusat di
Jakarta, Sabtu (28/5/2016). Kendati Presiden Joko Widodo
belum genap dua tahun mengendalikan pemerintahan,
gairah di sektor pariwisata nasional mulai berkobar. Investor
juga semakin percaya akan masa depan pariwisata
Indonesia. "Mereka sudah merasakan deregulasi yang
cepat dan serius di sektor pariwisata," jelas pria asal
Sumatera Barat ini.

“This sector is predicted to be the No. 1
generator of Foreign Exchange in 2019
with the target of 20 millions foreign
tourists.” kata Menko Kemaritiman dalam
acara penutupan acara Sail Sabang 2017, di

HEAD OF BKPM:TOURISM SECTOR AS THE PRIME INVESTMENT IN 2018
13Sumber : http://lifestyle.liputan6.com
Liputan6.com, Jakarta The Head of
Indonesia’s Investment Coordinating
Board (BKPM), Thomas Lembong, on
the occasion of a closed meeting with
President Joko Widodo said that there
are two sectors with the highest chance
of growth this year, namely tourismand e-commerce
Pariwisata dianggap punya keunggulan
mengingat mayoritas berada di sektor jasa.
Selain itu, pariwisata merupakan komoditas
yang paling berkelanjutan dan menyentuh
hingga ke level paling bawah masyarakat. Tak
hanya itu, tiap tahun performa pariwisata
Indonesia terus menanjak. Grafiknya sangat
kontras bila dibandingkan komoditas lain,
seperti minyak, gas, batu bara, serta kelapa
sawit terus merosot.
MINISTER OF FINANCE: TOURISM SECTOR IS RELIABLE TO IMPROVE THE TRADE BALANCE
14
Jakarta: Pemerintah melalui Kementerian Keuangan
(Kemenkeu) menilai sektor pariwisata bisa jadi penawar
defisit yang terjadi pada neraca perdagangan.
Penguatan sektor pariwisata bisa dilakukan sebagai
upaya jangka pendek guna menyeimbangkan neraca
pembayaran Indonesia.
Adapun Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) mengumumkan
kinerja perdagangan di Mei 2018 tercatat defisit
USD1,52 miliar. Meski menurun dari bulan sebelumnya
yang sebesar USD1,62 milar, namun angka tersebut
dipandang masih tinggi dan perlu ditekan sedemikian
rupa.
The Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani Indrawati,
stated that the tourism sector can cover the
hole caused by deficit that has been happening
for two months, by generating foreign income.
Jakarta Pusat, Senin, 25 Juni 2018.http://ekonomi.metrotvnews.com

GOVERNOR OF BANK OF INDONESIA:TOURISM IS THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR INDONESIAN ECONOMY
Jakarta, HanTer - Bank Indonesia menegaskan akan menggenjot sektor pariwisata.
Tujuannya untuk menekan defisit neraca transaksi berjalan (current account
deficit/CAD).
Bank of Indonesia Governor, Perry Warjiyo, stated that tourism is the right
choice to strengthen Indonesia’s economy. Because tourism can improve the
nation’s foreign Exchange reserve that has been eroded since last February.
It happened because we have been using the foreign exchange reserve to
stabilize Rupiah’s exchange rates.
"Pilihannya adalah memberdayakan sektor pariwisata demi meningkatkan devisa
dalam negeri. Sehingga mengelola CAD Indonesia tetap aman. Saat ini pariwisata
menjadi penyumbang kedua terbesar devisa Indonesia, setelah komoditas minyak
sawit mentah.
Data Kantor Staf Presiden (KSP) menyebutkan,
sumbangan devisa dari pariwisata terus meningkat signifikan. Pada 2014, sektor
pariwisata membukukan pendapatan devisa sebesar US$10,69 miliar.

Three islands in Indonesia are placed among the
“Top 10 Islands in Asia 2018” in the version of
Travel and Leisure* website, the islands are Java
(1st), Bali (2nd), and Lombok (3rd)
Lanta.
