When we look at classrooms, school corridors and school yard, there are papers,mineral water cups, straws, and napkins here and there. The condition of uncleanlinessand discomfort really hinders learning and teaching environment. Litters throwncarelessly cause disease, especially empty plastic cups or glasses. They can be filled outwith water coming from the rain. This can be placed for dengue mosquitoes to spread out.Besides, these rubbish can deteriorate the scene. Well painted wall and green school yarddo not mean anything if litters are scattered everywhere.

Anyway I notice that most of the students in our school have responsibilities fortheir school environment. They put their litters on the proper places. But some are notdiligent enough to find the dust bins. The numbers of dust bins in our school are notenough. More dust bins should be put beside each of stpes, outside of the classrooms, and

some more along the corridors. Probably one dust bin should be in every ten meters. Sowhen students want to throw away their litters, they can find the dust bins easily.When school is equipped whit sufficient dust bins, we do not have problems of

filth and discomfort any more. Our school will be very clean and become a nice place tostudy.

Fire rage four Australian statesMELBOURNE, Jan 22 (UPI) Fire authorities in four Australian states are to controlbushfires fanned by strong winds and searing temperatures.

The Australian reported Sunday that blazes continud to burn in South Australia,Tasmania, Western Australia and Victoria, where up to six homes have been destroyed.In South Australia , much of Adelaide is engulfed in thick smoke. The firefighters whoare confronted by blast-furnace winds try to bring the flames under control.
