Perancangan Jalur Gelombang Mikro

Titik Ke Titik Area Makasar

A. DASAR TEORI

Untuk mengatasi masalah interference diperlukan suatu perencanaan

yang matang dalam pemakaian frekuensi radio. Selain itu, perlu untuk

memperhatikan jarak transmisi dan kondisi baik topografi area dan iklim area

dimana jalur media transmisi akan dipasang.

Media Transmisi dengan menggunakan frekuensi radio berkembang

pesat di Indonesia. Sebagian besar media transmisi menggunakan teknik ini.

Teknik komunikasi melalui media tidak terpandu dan dengan menggunakan

frekuensi radio dianggap mampu memenuhi tantangan system telekomunikasi

saat ini, dimana mampu menangani jumlah pelanggan yang banyak. Seiring

dengan berkembangnya jumlah penduduk dan bertambahnya penggunaan

media transmisi frekuensi radio ini, maka timbul permasalahan. Dengan

bertambahnya jaringan, maka bertambah pula penggunaan frekuensi radio. Hal

ini dapat menyebabkan masalah antara lain gangguan dari frekuensi yang saling

berdekatan (interference).

Dengan adanya pemahaman terhadap pentingnya kebenaran dalam

perhitungan parameter jalur microwave, dan pemahaman tentang tipe radio

yang, akan dipasang diharapkan jalur transmisi microwave yang dirancang

memiliki keandalan yang tinggi

Pemahaman mengenai topologi dan kondisi cuaca, serta parameter yang

mempengaruhi media transmisi microwave ini, perlu ditunjang dengan

pemahaman piranti yang akan dipasang.

Dengan keandalan yang tinggi, tentunya jalur transmisi tersebut layak

untuk digunakan.

B. SYARAT PERANCANGAN

Jumlah titik node (lokasi tower ) minimal 6 (enam ) lokasi, dengan jarak maksimal antar titik node 40 Km dan jarak minimal antar titik node 15 Km.

Equipment radio dan equipment antenna pada masing-masing titik node tidak boleh sama satu sama lain.

Frekuensi yang dipergunakan pada masing-masing hop tidak boleh ada yang sama.

Hob bisa bersifat LOS dan NLOS

C. DASAR ANALISA PERANCANGAN

1. Model Okumura-Hata

Model Okumura-Hata adalah model propagasi yang diketahui,

dimana dapat gunakan pada wilayah sel makro untuk memprediksi

atenuasi tengahan sinyal radio. Satu model komponen menggunakan free

space loss. Model Okumura-Hata merupakan model empiris, yang

didasarkan pada perhitungan ukuran sel.

2. Propagasi Gelombang Radio Line of Sight

Pada kasus line of sight ini, panjang jalur atau jarak transmisi

dibatasi oleh syarat line of sight. Line of sight dianalogikan sebagai jalur

lurus udara layaknya pandangan mata lurus.

Line of sight microwave merupakan suatu transmisi radio

broadcast dengan pelayanan dari titik ke titik. Dengan kata lain sistem

transmisi ini dapat dianggap seperti layaknya radio relay. Jaringan point

to point ini dapat didefinisikan sebagai hubungan radio transmisi

microwave dari daerah dekat (ner end/pemancar) menuju daerah jauh

(far end/penerima).

3. Model Walfish-ikegami

Model Walfish-ikegami adalah model propagasi empiris untuk

wilayah perkotaan, dimana dikhususkan untuk aplikasi sel mikro. Model

Walfish-ikegami terbagi dalam dua kasus, yaitu keadaan line-of-sight

(LOS) dan nonline-of-sight. Rumus untuk memprediksikan path loss

dalam keadaan LOS dapat ditulis dengan :

d = jarak (km)

f = frekuensi (MHz)

dimana keadaannya tidak line-of-sight, dengan rumus path lossnya dapat

ditulis

4. Menghitung Link Budget

Tahapan untuk menghitung link budget sinyal adalah sebagai

berikut:

Berdasarkan hal tersebut, perhitungan jalur

transmisi (link budget) melalui beberapa tahap:

1) Menentukan nilai Evective Isotropic Received Power (EIRP)

2) Menentukan nilai Free Space Loss (FSL)

3) Menentukan nilai Isotropic Received Level (IRL)

4) Menentukan nilai Received Signal Level (RSL)

5) Menentukan nilai Carier to Noise Ratio (C/N)

5. Menentukan EIRP

Evective Isotropic Received Power (EIRP) menunjukkan nilai

efektif daya yang dipancarkan antena pemancar. Nilai ini dipengaruhi

oleh level keluaran pemancar, kemungkinan rugi-rugi feeder dan gain

antena. Secara matematis, nilai ini dapat ditulis:

Dengan Txout adalah daya keluarantransmitter (dBw), Gant adalah

gain antena (dB) dan Ll adalah rugi-rugi jalur (dB).

6. Menentukan FSL

Free Space Loss (FSL) adalah suatu nilai yang menunjukkan rugi-

rugi jalur transmisi. Rugi-rugi jalur transmisi ini dikarenakan karena

penggunaan media udara sebagai media pemandu, jarak jalur transmisi

dan penggunaan frekuansi radio. Besar FSL ini dapat dihitung dengan

rumus:

Dengan D adalah jarak antara antenna pemancar dan penerima, dan f

adalah frekuensi pembawa (MHz).

7. Menentukan IRL

Isotropic Received Level (IRL) merupakan nilai level daya

isotropic yang diterima oleh stasiun penerima. Nilai IRL ini bukan nilai

daya yang diterima oleh sistem atau rangkaian decoding. Akan tetapi nilai

ini adalah nilai level daya terima antena stasiun penerima. Besar nilai IRL

ini adalah:

8. Menentukan RSL

Received Signal Level (RSL) merupakan level daya yang diterima oleh

piranti pengolah decoding. Nilai RSL ini dipengaruhi oleh rugi-rugi jalur

dan gain antena penerima. Dengan ini nilai RSL dapat dihitung dengan

rumus:

D. Analisa Perancangan

Jalur Transmisi Microwave, Pada perancangan bagian ini akan dibahas

mengenai hasil perhitungan yang telah dilakukan dengan

menggunakan software. Adapun tahapan perhitungan link budget

yang dibahas adalah:

Menghitung Jarak antara titik Jarak antara kedua titik site

dapat dihitung dengan cara menentukan posisi nominal dua titik

pada garis bumi dan menghitung jarak antaranya. Letak

nominal titik biasanya dinyatakan dalam garis lintang

dan garis bujurnya. Setiap titik garis lintang dan garis bujur

tersebut dinyatakan dalam derajat, menit dan detik. Tentunya

nilai ini perlu dikonfersi dalam satuan derajat saja dan

dikonversi dalam km. Setiap bagian menit dan detik dikonversi

dalam derajat dan dirubah dalam km. Sehingga untuk merubah

titik nominal dari nilai jam-menit-detik menjadi nilai jam saja

adalah:

Rumus ini berlaku untuk titik bujur dan lintang. Misalkan

diambil suatu titik berada dalam posisi lintang 05o 15’ 20.10” S

dan bujur timur 119o 24’ 10.90”, maka titik ini berada pada

derajat:

Untuk menentukan jarak antara kedua titik adalah dengan

menggunakan rumus jarak sederhana, dimana untuk garis

lintang persatuan derajat dikalikan dengan nilai 110.33 km dan

untuk garis bujur dikalikan dengan 111.32 km perderajat.

Dengan ini dapat dihitung jarak antara dua titik A (50o 15’ 20.10”S,

119o 24’ 10.90”E) dan titik B (05o 04’ 07.89”S,119o 24’ 44.64”E)

adalah:

Posisi titik bumi site Soreang dan Makasar

Posisi nominal titik bumi site Soreang berada pada posisi

lintang 05o 15’ 20.10” S dan bujur 119o 24’ 10.90”, sedangkan

titik nominal site Makasar berada pada titik lintang 05o 04’

70.89” S, dan bujur 119o 24’ 44.64” E. Dengan diketahui kedua

titik nominal tersebut dapat ditarik garis lurus imaginer

untuk mengetahui jarak kedua titik tersebut sejauh 20.67 km.

Dengan diketehui jarak antara titik tersebut dapat dihitung nilai

rugi-rugi ruang bebas yang mungkin terjadi dikarenakan jarak

antara titik.

Topografi jalur Soreang – Makasar

Topografi jalur Soreang Makasar dapat diketahui

dengan metode survey lapangan ataupun menggunakan peta

digital yang tersedia. Peta digital yang digunakan pada saat ini

adalah peta MAP MAKASAR INDONESIA.prindted by army map

service.corp engineers.scala 1:250000.

Dengan menggunakan peta ini sama dengan

mengunakan SRTM dapat diketahui kondisi profile antara titik

nominal bumi tersebut untuk mengetahui kemungkinan

penghalang yang terjadi.

Gelombang ruang bebas Soreang – Makasar

Dengan mengetahui letak penghalang dan kondisi

topografi antara kedua titik maka dapat ditentukan ketinggian

minimum antenna yang akan digunakan untuk membuat titik

antara kedua site tersebut memenuhi criteria Line of sight

yaitu bebasnya zona fresnel 1 dari segala bentuk penghalang

yang dapat menyebabkan pembelokan, penghamburan,

maupun perusakan sinyal yang dikirim oleh pemancar sehingga

daya yang diterima sisi penerima tidak dapat optimum dan

diprediksi nilainya.

Dengan demikian letak antenna yang digunakan pada

kedua site harus memenuhi criteria tersebut. Dengan

menggunakan tombol optimize dapat ditentukan ketinggian

optimum sedemikian sehingga dapat dihasilkan kondisi LOS

pada kedua titik tersebut.

Survey lokasi jalur Soreang –Makasar dan hasil

perhitungan link budget

Survey lokasi site dilakukan supaya dapat mengetahui

kondisi nyata dari antara titik site tersebut. Sehingga dapat

diketahui kemungkinan penghalang kritis yang dapat terjadi

diantara kedua titik tersebut. Selain itu dapat diketahui letak

antenna yang telah direncanakan pada tahap perencanaan

apakah dapat diimplementasikan. Pada tahap survey ini

beberapa hal penting yang perlu diketahui adalah informasi

tentang titik far end, informasi jalur, lokasi site, diagram azimuth,

dan foto kondisi site.

Setelah diketahui semua informasi di lapangan yang

Dalam mendesain manual dengan meggunakan softwere pathloos tidak bayak kendala, kendala justru dalam mencari data yang asli /otentiks seperti peta. Terutama peta digital.

Dalam perencanaan ini tidak dilakukan surfey sampe kelokasi perencanaan hanya melihat dan membandingkan dengan data dan sumber yang otentik sehingga dapat dipertanggungjawabkan kebenaranya.

Penulis juga menggunakan metode identifikasi untuk membaca peta dan menentukan topografi elevasi dari daerah yang dilewati link gelombang mikro.
