Sejak saat itu wajah pasien tampak merot, matakiri tidak dapat menutup, dahi sebelah kiri tidak bisa dikerutkan, sudutmulut kiri juga tidak bisa diangkat. Pasien juga mengeluhkan sulitmengunyah makanan di sebelah kiri. Bila pasien makan, makanan yangdi mulut sebelah kiri cenderung terkumpul disamping depan.
