    Global economic growth is projected at –4.4% in 2020 , impacted by thepurchasing-power-parity due to Covid-19 pandemic.

    China diperkirakan akan mengalami pertumbuhan ekonomi sebesar1,9% pada tahun 2020. /

    China is estimated to gain economic growth by 1.9% in 2020.

    Pemulihan parsial diperkirakan akan terjadi pada tahun 2021 yangdidukung harapan terhadap penemuan vaksin Covid-19 dan mulaidibukanya aktivitas ekonomi di berbagai negara. Perekonomian globaldiproyeksikan bisa tumbuh 5,2% pada tahun 2021. /

    Partial recovery is expected to occur in 2021, supported by hopes for thediscovery of the Covid-19 vaccine and starting to open economic activitiesin various countries. The global economy is projected to grow 5.2% in2021.

    Wabah Covid-19 menekan konsumsi batubara global hingga diprediksi turun 8% pada tahun 2020. Ini merupakan penurunan terbesar sejak Perang Dunia II, dengan penurunanpenggunaan batu bara di hampir setiap sektor di setiap wilayah di dunia. /

    Covid-19 outbreak pushing down global coal consumption which is estimated to fall by 8% in 2020. It is the largest drop since World War II, with coal use declining in virtually every sector of every region in the world.

    Turunnya permintaan akan batubara global dapat dilihat pada pergerakan harga batubara yang menunjukkan tren penurunan. Sampai dengan akhir November 2020, harga batubaraNewcastle tercatat sebesar USD55.70 per metrik ton, turun dibanding harga di awal tahun yang mencapai USD65.93 per metrik ton. /

    The decline of global coal demand can be seen in the movement of coal prices which showed a downward trend. As of the end of November 2020, the price of Newcastle coal recorded at USD55.70 per metric ton, lower compared to the beginning of the year which reached USD65.93 per metric ton.

    Perseroan memperoleh dua proyek baru senilai US$23,5 juta di tambang timbal-seng di Dairi, Sumatera Utara, milik PT DairiPrima Mineral (DPM). Lingkup pekerjaan dalam proyek ini adalah pekerjaan tanah, sipil / konstruksi, serta instalasi mekanikaldan elektrikal. / Company obtained two new projects valued US$23.5 million in a lead-zinc mine in Dairi, North Sumatra, owned by PT Dairi Prima Mineral (DPM). Scope of works in the project are earthworks, civil/construction, as well as mechanical and electrical installations.

    Penyelenggaraan Rapat Umum Pemegang Saham Tahunan (RUPST) Kedua dan Rapat Umum Pemegang Saham Luar Biasa(RUPSLB) Kedua, di Aston Rasuna, Kamis (3/9), yang salah satu agendanya adalah perubahan dalam Dewan Perusahaan. / The Second Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) and the Second Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS), at Aston Rasuna, Thursday (3/9), which one of the agendas is a change in the Board of the Company.

    Perseroan memperoleh Letter of Intent (LoI) untuk proyek Sarongga, Kintap, dan Jumbang, serta Production Requirement Notice (PRN) untuk Asam Asam Timur di Kalimantan Selatan dari PT Arutmin Indonesia. / Company received Letter of Intent (LoI) for Sarongga, Kintap, dan Jumbang projects, also Production Requirement Notice (PRN) for East Asam Asam in South Kalimantan from PT Arutmin Indonesia.

    Perseroan memperoleh Letter of Intent (LoI) untuk proyek Satui dan Senakin di Kalimantan Selatan dari PT Cakrawala LangitSejahtera. / Company received Letter of Intent (LoI) for Satui and Senakin projects in South Kalimantan from PT CakrawalaLangit Sejahtera.

    Pada 25 November 2020, Perseroan melakukan penandatanganan perjanjian manajemen tyre dengan Fujian Haian Rubber Co. Ltd./ PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) signed agrrement for tire management with Fujian Haian Rubber Co. Ltd. on November 25, 2020.

    Hingga akhir September 2020, DEWA meraih 86,03 juta bcmoverburden removal. Angka ini tumbuh 4,02% dibandingkan 82,70juta bcm di akhir September tahun lalu.

    Selama Jan-Sept 2020, produksi batubara DEWA meningkat11,61% ke posisi 12,77 juta ton dari sebelumnya 11,44 juta tonpada periode yang sama tahun sebelumnya.

    YTD September 2020, DEWA obtained 86.03 million bcmoverburden removal. The amount stepped up by 4.02% comparedto 82.70 million bcm in last year’s YTD September.

    During Jan-Sept 2020, DEWA’s coal production increased by11.61% to 12.77 million tonnes, from 11.44 million tonnes in thesame period last year.

    The Company was able to boost its operational performancedespite releasing a subcontractor at Bengalon Project in June2020.

    Bengalon Coal Project in East Kalimantan holds the highestcontribution of DEWA’s performance in terms of overburden andcoal production.

    The Company relieve a subcontractor to open up volume for ownfleets therefore yielding better economics.

    DEWA’s Bengalon project could still increase its overburdenremoval by 11.18% to 60.36 million bcm and coal production by7.86% to 7 million tonnes.

    Proyek batubara Bengalon di Kalimantan Timur merupakankontributor terbesar dalam hal overburden removal dan produksibatubara Perseroan.

    Perseroan melepaskan salah satu subkontraktor di proyekBengalon untuk membuka volume produksi bagi alat sendirisehingga meningkatkan keekonomian.

    Proyek batubara Bengalon mempu meningkatkan overburdenremoval sebesar 11,18% menjadi 60,36 million bcm dan produksibatubara sebesar 7,86% ke posisi 7 juta ton.

    Hingga akhir September 2020, overburden removal DEWA padaproyek tambang batubara Asamasam, Kalimantan Selatan, turun30,19% ke posisi 16,16 juta bcm sesuai dengan permintaan klien.

    Namun demikian produksi batubara yang menjadi kontributorterhadap pendapatan tetap meningkat 21,96% menjadi 5,22 jutaton pada Jan-Sept 2020.

    YTD September 2020, DEWA’s overburden removal in AsamasamCoal Project, South Kalimantan, decreased by 30.19% to 16.16million bcm in accordance with the client’s production request.

    However, coal production—the revenue contributor—couldincrease by 21.96% to 5.22 million tonnes in Jan-Sept 2020.

    YTD September 2020, DEWA meraih 9,50 juta bcm overburdenremoval di tambang batubara Satui. Angka ini melonjak 80,60%dibandingkan 5,26 juta bcm di periode yang sama 2019dikontribusikan oleh aktifitas pengembangan pit.

    Sementara, produksi batubara Satui menurun 18,18% dari 0,66 jutaton ke posisi 0,54 juta ton di akhir September 2020.

    Perseroan juga tengah mengupayakan peningkatan kapasitasproduksi untuk mengantisipasi target yang lebih tinggi dari klien ditahun 2021

    YTD September 2020, DEWA gained 9.50 million bcm overburdenremoval in Satui coal mine. The amount escalated by 80.60%compared to 5.26 million bcm in last year’s September contributedby major pit development activities.

    Meanwhile, Satui coal production decreased by 18.18% from 0.66million tonnes to 0.54 million tonnes at the end of September 2020.

    At the end of September 2020, DEWA’s assets recorded at USD558.64 million, grew by 1.66% from the end of 2019. Non-current assets recorded increasing by 10.25%, while current assets decreased by 12.79%.

    In accordance with declining debts, DEWA’s liabilities reduced by 8.05% to USD289.88 million.

    There was depreciation due to the addition ofnew working machines and equipment foroperations, as well as the application of PSAK73 which had a significant impact on loweringgross profit compared to the same period oflast year.

    Until the end of Q3 2020, DEWA has absorbed US$34.66,which is mostly used for purchasing new machines andequipment that support the Company's operations. Apartfrom that, it was also due to refurbishment of machines,purchases of components and tires, and other equipment.
