Slottsfjell Festivalenlogo & poster

Slottsfjell festival is one of the most popular festivals in Norway. It is a five-stage festival, situated in the grounds of the iconic tower on a mountain-top on the site of a 1,000 year old Viking fortress.The 12th Slottsfjell Festival takes place in the southern city of Tønsberg, Norway from Thursday 17th until Saturday 19th July 2014. I would like to present my concept of logo and poster for next edition of this festival. Each edition has the same sign (the tow-er) but different typography. I kept this principle.

LØÖPmagazine layout

The new project of magazine layout. My idea was create Polish magazine which consist of news about Scandinavi-an design, architecture, art, lifestyle and other interesting things, but still mostly focus on design. Each issue will contains of interview, articles and shorter reports. Every enthusiast of the Nordic countries can find here lot of information about news as well as history beginning with companies like Iittala, Royal Copenhagen and ending with Ikea.In my concept of layout, I wanted to keep simple form characterized by only one typeface (Lato) and lot of white area.

Playfair Displayspecimen book

My book was created to promote a typeface Playfair Display by Claus Eggers Sørensen. I made a various of composition using different styles and sizes, scaling glyphs and just enjoying the forms. When my work was done I realised that, how much this typeface has to offer and how beauty and elegant is.I kept my Polish languge, I decided to use Polish poem characterised by long, old-fashioned words which are good correspond with that classical typeface. My choose of colour is to keep this retro style. To create special romantic climat, which Playfair Display definitely has.

Eco logotypesredesign package

Set of 4 logotypes. Mostly redesign currently versions of non-profit organ-izations or other initiatives. Each of this institutes supports ecology and they fo-cuses on safety wild life.I used very simple signs inspirating by flora and fauna associated with a par-ticular organisation. Fungus as a sign of Tongass National Forest, jellyfish - Save Sea Life, leaves of acacia - Eco Care, three waves as a symbol of three the bigest oceans - Oceania. But always, there is an option to find something else in my signs (The only limit is your imagination). About the color, I tried to keep as much as possible colours from nature, so you can see mostly green and blue. I choosed simple typography, mostly sans serif which they don’t distract you and looks pretty modern.

Workshop Agrafaset of 3 poster

Concept of typographic poster for Workshop Agrafa. Type design workshop for medium/advanced young designers, who already are working on a particular font (text or display). The workshop are being a part of Inter-national Design Conference Agrafa 2015 – The need for design and designing for needs. My idea was create posters to promote this event, using only typography and simple three colour. Basicaly the concept was inpirated by newspaper layout and neon banners filled a text.

Planet Earthpainting

This is not a painting, not a photogra-phy. This is something between.In this case, camera is just a tool to catch the spilling ink on my floor.

Google Street VoyagephotobookBOOK:This photobook contains collection of street pictures which I took during my journeys the years 2012 - 2014. My idea was to compare my images (right page) with pictures from google street view (left page) by printshoot. I focused main-ly on Scandinavian streets (Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish) from winding mountain roads to charming narrow streets. When I made this photos I didn’t have a plan for album, so pictures is ran-dom, (and not always technically perfect)

DESIGN:Comparing my photos with google printscreen, was kind of challenge (and fun) for me. I couldn’t find some places for a long time, so I just walking and walking on map trying to find exactly right point. And then, I created 40 spreads. Every spread is different view. Pictures are cat-aloged chronological.

I am presenting 3 pictures of circle in a different perspective : closed, open and diagonal. I used three dfferent strong colour and lot of layers pervading each others.
