Learning Outcomes
Pada akhir pertemuan ini, diharapkan mahasiswa
akan mampu :
• Memahami bagaimana mengukur dan memprediksi perilaku biaya

Outline Materi
• Cost Function
• Prediksi Biaya
• Beberapa model cost function

Cost Functions
6
D2182-Armanto W
Form of Cost Functions

Beberapa Metoda Cost Functions
• Engineering analysis
• Account analysis
• High-low analysis
• Visual-fit analysis
• Simple least-squares regression, &
• Multiple least-squares regression.
11
D2182-Armanto W
Engineering Analysis
14
D2182-Armanto W
High-Low Analysis
• high-low method adalah sebuah metoda sederhana untuk mengukur fungsi linear dari data biaya historisA simple method for measuring a linear-cost function from past cost data is the.

Bulan Setup Costs Setup Hours
Januari $1,000 100
Februari 1,250 200
Maret 2,250 300
April 2,500 400
Mei 3,750 500
Contoh High-Low Analysis
18
D2182-Armanto W
Contoh High-Low Analysis
Variabel Rate (V)= Change in cost/Change in output
V =(High cost - Low cost) / (High output – Low output)
V = ($3,750 - $1,000) / (500 - 100)
V = $2,750 / 400
V = $6.875 per setup hour
19
D2182-Armanto W
Contoh High-Low Analysis
3,750 = Fixed costs + $6.875 (500)
Fixed costs = $3,750.00 - $3,437.50
Fixed costs = $312.50
Maka dengan menggunakan high-low analysis diperoleh persamaan:
Total cost = $312.50 + ($6.875 x setup hours)

Hasil tsb menghasilkan persamaan:
Setup Costs = $125 + ($6.75 x # of setup hours)

TC = b0 + b1X1 + b2X2 + . . .
b0 = adalah fixed cost atau intercept
bi = variable rate untuk variabel independen ke i
