    Steps:1. Soak the noodles in hot water for a few

    minutes until strands are separated, drain.

    2. Prepare the vegetables. Finely chop springonions. Heat stock in a pan, eat cauliflower,cabbage, chopped spring onions, tomato,soy sauce, cumin and coriander. Bring to aboil, reduce the heat, and simmer uncoveredfor 5 minutes.

    3. Add the noodles, simmer further for 3minutes or until the noodles are tender.Serve the noodles immediately.

    Orang Utan

    Orang utan is a great ape of Southeast Asia.Its name means man of the jungle. Orangutans only live in the island of Borneo and in thenorthern corner of the island of Sumatra.

    The orang utan spends most of its time intrees, using its long arms and hooked-shapedhands and feet for grasping branches and vines.It seldom ventures to the ground, but when itdoes, it walks on all fours.

    Orang utans are characterized by coarse,long, reddish-brown fur. Male orang utansaverage about 95 cm in length and about 77 kgin weight. Females are smaller, reaching about78 cm in height and weighing only about 37 kg.The male has puffy cheeks and a hangingthroat-pouch. This pouch contains air sacks thathelp produce a groaning, bubbling call, which

    can be heard at least 1 km away.Half of the orang utans diet consists of fruit,

    but these animals also eat young leaves, softinner bark, termites, eggs, and occasionallymonkeys. Orang utans accumulate fat in winterto prepare for the monsoon season in Aprilthrough October, when food is scarce.

    Orang utans are solitary creatures. Exceptwhen mating, adult usually travel and forage forfood independently. When a female is ready tomate, she will look out an adult male. The pairwill stay together for several days until thefemale pregnant, then they will solitary again.The gestational period for orang utans is justunder nine months, nearly the same as inhumans beings. Female give birth to a singleinfant about once every four to eight years.Infants stay very close to their mothers for thefirst three years until they are weaned. Theyspend the next three to five years becomingincreasingly independent of their mother,gaining complete independence at about eightyears of age.
