Pada presentasi ini menjelaskan mengenai pengolahan data gempa, dengan tujuan untuk mengklasifikasikan rentang magnitude gempa, mendapatkan grafik log cacahmagnitude Vs rentang magnitude, dan B-Value.
Data diolah dengan Microsoft Excel, dengan mengimpor data gempa dalam bentuk file *.txt, dimana data gempa diambil dari http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/eqarchives/epic/

Buka lembar kerja Ms. Excel.
Pilih Open, lalu pada kotak Files of Type, pilih Text Files.
