l My  husband  and  I  are expecting  our  first  baby  (a  girl!)  on  October  1!

Nancy  Bernall 19  years  teaching  experience  in  Pre-­K  to  8th grade.l 15th year  in  Itasca  Dist.  10  as  K-­2  ELL  Teacherl Hobbies:  Baking  with  my  girls  &  Playing  soccer  with  my  sonl Biggest  accomplishment:  Getting  my  Masters  in  Reading  &  Instruction  while  working,  and  taking  care  of  my  3  kids.

l 30 minutes per day – 5 days per week (Grades 1-8)

l 20 minutes per day – 5 days per week (Kindergarten)

• Read with your child in English or home language and write or draw pictures about what they read.

• Dialogue – Ask questions, communicate, discuss daily activities about home and school.

• Help out at school (library, lunch/recess, service workers, patrol, IPTO, room parent)
