MANAGEMENT IS COMMITTED TO CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENTS IN ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE
AND THE PREVENTION OF POLLUTION. ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS, LAWS AND CODES OF PRACTICE

TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THAT AN INDIVIDUAL PORTION OF MARMALADE HAS 20GR MARMALADE.
WE WOULD HAVE USED 51.750 PORTIONS.EACH INDIVIDUAL MARMALADE PACK CONSISTS 1GR OF PLASTIC SO THE AVERAGE OF PLASTIC THAT WE
SAVE IS 51,75KG OF PLASTIC.
THE SUMMER SEASON LASTS ON AVERAGE 180 DAYS.EACH ONE-USE PLASTIC GLASS/CUP CONSISTS 1GR OF PLASTIC.IF 1450 GUESTS CONSUME ON AVERAGE 5 DRINKS PER DAY FOR THE DURATION OF THE SEASON THAT MEANS THAT WE
WOULD HAVE USE 1350 KG OF PLASTIC. INSTEAD WE DECIDED ON CHOOSING REUSABLE PLASTIC GLASSES/CUPS ALL AROUND THE BARS. THE NUMBER OF
REUSABLE PLASTIC GLASSES/ CUPS WE PURCHASE IS 10.000
IN OUR ATTEMPT TO SUPPORT THE GLOBAL ENVIRONMENTAL MOVEMENT, WE ARE TRYING TO REDUCE THE USAGE OF
PLASTIC STRAWS IN OUR BARS & RESTAURANTS.THE BAR &
RESTAURANT STAFF ARE OFFERING PLASTIC STRAWS
ONLY, UPON REQUEST, BY THE GUIDANCE OF THE HOTEL

ONE HALF LITER PLASTIC BOTTLE CONSISTS 15GR OF PLASTIC MATERIAL. TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THE AMOUNT OF PLASTIC MATERIAL THAT ONE PLASTIC BOTTLE CONSISTS OF AND THAT THE SUMMER SEASON LASTS 180 DAYS WE CALCULATE THAT THE NUMBER OF PLASTIC IS 3.483KG.
IN TERMS OF BOTTLES, WE WOULD HAVE USED 232.200 BOTTLES FOR THE WHOLE SEASON ON TOP FROM THE QUANTITY THAT WE ARE USING NOW.
