Using this Notebook Notebooking and unit studies naturally go together, and the “Notebooking” world geography series by
Everyday Adventures is the perfect combination of a mini unit study and notebooking pages. It is perfect
for elementary students. This series will help your children learn about both the physical and cultural
geography of countries around the world.
It is designed to be used as a stand-alone study, but is also a great supplement to any world
history curriculum.
Because there is such a wide range of ability between 1st and 5th grades, you may find that some of the
activities are too advanced for your younger students. If that is the case, omit some of the harder
activities. Choose the ones that fit your needs.
Finding the information necessary to complete these pages is easy. Simply research the topics online or
use a good world atlas and almanac. Here are some resources that may be helpful.

school students.

• Create a timeline of the country’s history.
• Add additional geographic features to the map like mountain ranges, major rivers and lakes, and islands.
• Write a report about the country’s natural resources.
• Write a report about the country’s economy.
• Write a report about the country’s form of government.
• Choose a famous person from this country and write a biographical essay about him or her.
Most importantly, use the World Geography Series the way that it works best for your family.
