ABSTRAK
Telah dilakukan pengujian efek ekstrak etanol daun dewa (Gynura pseudochina
(L) D.C.) dan rimpang temu ireng (Curcuma aeruginosa Roxb.) terhadap jumlah
trombosit, eritrosit, dan kadar hematokrit pada tikus putih galur wistar dengan
metode induksi heparin. Ekstrak diberikan dengan cara oral selama 7 hari
berturut-turut, dosis ekstrak etanol daun dewa 250mg/kgBB dan 500mg/kgBB;
ekstrak etanol temu ireng 250mg/kgBB dan 500mg/kg BB. Pengamatan parameter
– parameter tersebut dilakukan pada hari ketujuh dengan menggunakan alat
sysmex XE-5000 hematology analyzer. Hasil penelitian terhadap jumlah trombosit
menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol daun dewa pada dosis 500mg/kgBB dan
rimpang temu ireng pada dosis 250mg/kgBB dan 500mg/kgBB memiliki
perbedaan nyata terhadap kontrol negatif pada taraf nyata α=0,05 dimana
peningkatan jumlah trombosit paling baik yaitu ekstrak etanol rimpang temu ireng
dosis 500mg/kgBBdenganpersentase 26,98% terhadap kontrol negatif, hasil
penelitian terhadap jumlah eritrosit dan kadar hematokrit menunjukkan bahwa
ekstrak etanol rimpang temu ireng pada dosis 500mg/kgBB dan daun dewa pada
dosis 250mg/kgBB dan 500mg/kgBB memiliki perbedaan nyata terhadap kontrol
negatif pada taraf nyata α=0,05 dimana peningkatan jumlah eritrosit yang paling
baik yaitu ekstrak etanol daun dewa dosis 500mg/kgBB dengan persentase
peningkatan jumlah ertirosit terbesar 17,27% terhadap kontrol negatif, dan
peningkatan kadar hematokrit yang paling besar yaitu ekstrak etanol daun dewa
dosis 500mg/kgBB dengan persentase peningkatan kadar hematokrit sebesar
10,97% terhadap kontrol negatif.

ABSTRACT
The aim of this research was to determine the effects of ethanol extracts of dewa
leaves (Gynura pseudochina (L) D.C) and temu ireng (Curcuma aeruginosa
Roxb.) against the number of trombocytes, erythrocytes, and hematocrit level on
male white rats (Rattus novergicus) by using Heparin Induction Method. Extracts
was given orally for 7 continous days, dosages used for dewa leaves ethanol
extracts were 250 mg/kgBW and 500 mg/kgBW, the temu ireng rhizome ethanol
extracts dosages used were 250 mg/kgBW and 500 mg/kgBW. Observation of the
parameters was tested on seventh day with using sysmex XE-5000 hematology
analyzer after the extracts was given. The result showed that the rats group which
are given extracts of dewa leaves 500mg/kgBW; temu ireng rhizomes on
250mg/kgBW and 500mg/kgBW groups gave a significant differences in numbers
of trombocytes againts negative control group (α=0,05). Temu ireng rhizome
extracts at dosage 500mg/kgBB gave the highest effects in increasing rats
trombocytes number against negative control with a percentage value 26,98%.
The rats group which are given extracts of dewa leaves on 250mg/kgBW and
500mg/kgBW; temu ireng rhizome on 500mg/kgBW groups gave a significant
differences in numbers of eritrocytes and hematocrit’s level against negative
control group (α=0,05). Dewa leaves extracts at dosage 500mg/kgBW gave the
highest effects in increasing rats eritocytes number against negative control with
a percentage value 17,27%, while improvement rate of hematocrit that is dewa
leaves extracts on 500mg/kgBW gave the highest effects against negative control
with percentage 10,97%.
